Imperfect

"umm.. nothing" I said. I was feeling ashamed. Did he just caught me checking his clothes? What a shame Harmony.
"Ok fine, just come here and have some food" he had some fish and some salted rice.

"Why are you being so nice? I don't get it! A few hours ago you were running behind me like an animal. Why the hell are you helping me now? What is your plan? It can't be a joke either, can it be?" I lost my mind suddenly. It happens sometimes, when my mind is messed up.

" You wanna know why I am helping you? That's because I have some brain left. Now can you please have some food? We can talk later" his words are too confusing. So I chose eating the food and leaving him for now. The food was delicious. I know that right now I look like a cheap psycho, shouting at a person who is helping me. But I can't help it because I don't have a choice, I have to live this way.

I started staring at Alec. He knew I want my answers. "Look I don't wanna hide your answers either so..."  Wait a minute. Can he read my mind? "...let's get started. Three people excluding me were after you, right? One was Shaun Colby, the other one with a beard was Carter Hadlee and the arm less guy who was holding you was Bryan. And you already know me"

"What's your full name Alec? Last name?"

"Reigns, Alec Reigns"

"Fine. But you didn't tell me why are you helping me"

"Look, I don't see any of your fault in all this and so I'm helping you. But I'll help you until I can. I care about me a lot more than I care about you. If you wouldn't have made Bryan unconscious, I wouldn't have come to help you, because I can't help you infront of them. So yeah, I will help you until I can"  ouch! His words are bitter. But I'm grateful that I found him and I got a lot of information.

"But Alec, why don't your partners think like you? I mean why are they so... heartless?" I asked.

"That's because they have been this way from years. They are experienced, they don't feel for anyone anymore. Time has changed them. And in my case, I have just started. Situations forces us to accept the heartless sides where options are never provided" his word shows the pain he has been through. Even though I don't know his story but I do know that how merciless some situations can be.
