Veronica's POV

I stare out of the window, counting every tree that goes by. I've ridden in Heather's car before, but it feels strange being in such a lavish car. The interior is genuine leather, and the outside is a beautiful shade of red, of course. The first stop is Heather Duke's house.

Her house is a neat, tidy house. Not a single blade of grass is out of place. Her shiny jeep sits in the driveway. Duke herself is neat and tidy as always, green blazer, short pencil skirt, and thick eyeliner. She was always cold towards everyone, except Heather.

As we stop, Duke walks over the front passenger seat door, and just, stares at me. She motions for me to open the window. As the window rolls down, she says:

"Heather? Why is Veronica in the passenger seat?  I always sit there!" She pouts,

"Shut up Heather, sit in the back. " Heather snaps.

As we make our way to Heather McNamara's house, I feel Duke's narrow eyes glaring at the back of my head. She was always the jealous type.

We stop at a huge, lavish, modern house. Everything from the nice house to the expensive cars in the driveway screamed rich.

McNamara herself had a golden glow, everything about her looked golden. From her curly blonde hair, golden tan skin, to her yellow outfit. She seemed sweet at first but could be very. very cruel.

As she made her way to the backseat, she looked at Chandler, and looked at me, and smiled sweetly.

-Time Skip-

I try to focus on my schoolwork, but I can feel J.D's stares from a mile away. I don't want to talk to him, not yet. I do my best to stay in large crowds to avoid him.

I can feel his judgment from a mile away. I sigh, might as well face now and get it over with.

4:03 PM

I wait by my locker, everyone has left, or they are in clubs.

Five minutes go by, maybe J.D gave up on finding me. As I leave, I notice his dark shadow in the corner of the hallway.

He was wearing his usual trench coat, black pants, and a gray shirt. His sleek black hair contrasted with his pale skin. He had a dangerous glint in his eyes.

"Hello, Heather, " He says, gliding out of the shadows.

"The name's Veronica."

"Who can tell? You've been spending so much time with them," He says with disgust

"Hey, at least I'm not plotting to kill them all!" I say, my face red with anger.

"Well, I am, and Westerburg will be a better place without them. " He says maliciously.

He reaches into his pocket, bringing out a dainty, yet sharp knife.

J.D admires it in his hand, and tests the point on his wrist, drawing blood.

"I think the green knock-off should be the first to go."

"Duke? No!"

"And why not? I thought you hated her."

"She sucks, but she doesn't deserve to die. No one does."

He chuckles,

"You'll thank me once their dead, then we can kill Kurt, Ram..." He trails on, listing name after name.

"That's at least half of the school!" I shout

"Not my fault their assholes."

My entire body starts to tremble a little, I've never seen him like this, so driven to murder, ready to kill. So, psychotic. J.D was always the edgy kid, but, this is a whole new level.

J.D shoves the knife back into his pockets. He takes out a pen and a sheet of paper.

"We're gonna need a suicide note to go with her suicide." He smiles at me.

It makes me sick,

"Well, what're we waiting for?"

"We?"

"We are partners in crime."

I can feel my lunch threatening to make a reappearance.

J.D starts walking towards me, and I back into a corner.

"C'mon, don't be like that. The suicide note isn't hard to write, I already underlined meaningful words in her copy of Moby Dick."

"Get away from me," I shout,

God, I'm screwed. I just need someone, anyone to walk into the hallway.

The combination of J.D's dark shadows and his dark grin is unsettling.

"Hey, trench coat, what do you think you're doing." Someone yells,

J.D turns, annoyed someone showed up.

I let out a sigh of relief, thanking whoever saved me.

"C'mon Ronnie, let's go. "

The person who saved me was.. Heather Chandler?

Author's Note

I don't believe Heather McNamara is a cinnamon roll. Yes, she is the most human of the  Heathers, but she still did some horrible stuff.

Here's a list

- she is a bully, like the rest of the Heathers,

-She volunteered Veronica for date rape to save herself

-She helped Duke spread rumors about Veronica's "three-way"

If you still believe she's a cinnamon roll, that's fine. But in this story, she's not a cinnamon roll.
