Heather's POV
Me and Veronica were cuddling all night, my face flushes red. I can't help but feel embarrassed. I try to move away, to save myself the embarrassment. But it's too late, Veronica stirs, she opens her eyes and stares at me in confusion.
"It-It's not what you thin-" I sputter, pushing away from her.
Veronica blinks in confusion, still waking up, "What do you mean?" She asks.
She looks at me, and I see the realization on her face.
She blushes and looks away, and buries her face in her hands. I blush and look away.
"Hey, uh, Heather?" She starts,
"Yea?"
She looks into my eyes,
"Let's not, you know, talk about this.."
"Agreed,"
We silently get ready, not saying a word to the other.
--Time Skip--
I make my way down to the kitchen, to find Veronica waiting there for me.
"So.... breakfast?" I say, trying to break the silence.
Veronica smiles, and somehow brightens my already bright kitchen.
"Sure, "
I walk over to the fridge, looking through vegetables and random leftovers.
"What do you want, we can make... pancakes? Eggs and bacon. Hmm, maybe coffee?"
"I'll eat the eggs and bacon, " Veronica shrugs.
As I'm cooking, I watch Veronica fiddle with a napkin.
I didn't notice that I was watching her so closely I almost burnt the bacon.
