Where did she go?

I felt her soul leave the school building. Something wasn't right. She was acting strange yesterday and now even more so today. She was getting frightened for no reason. And she even began to lie profusely.. Just overall unusual behavior from her. Damn, I wasn't dumb. But what exactly is going on!? Why the hell did she leave? My eyes wided. There's only one thing that could make her act out. I should have guessed this would be an outcome..

I vanished immediately to my chambers, not caring if the mortals could see such a disappearance.
"Haechan! Haechan! We have a problem..I-" I
pause realizing he wasn't there. Where the fuck is he? Is everyone just gone!?
Quickly, I began walking around the area. Searching around in anger. Calm down Felix. I thought, you'll find her. She must have not gotten far.
"Felix-" I snapped my head to see Changbin approaching me.
"Do you know where Haechan is? I need to talk to him... I need his help. Zoey is missing-"
"You don't know?"
"Know what?" I shout.
"Zoey is with Haechan. He said that she's his.. Then she also said to tell you sorry." Changbin says softly.
I fast walk grabbing Changbin's collar." You could have fucking done something. This is a life or death situation, Angel Boy. You really let him walk away, thought you were a protector!?
"I couldn't. I'm not a protector anymore anyway, especially after you fucked that up for me." He roughly pushed me off of him. "By the way, before you think badly of me, I'm also forbidden to become hostile with a Demon of higher status.."
" Your still a fucking coward... Since Haechan isn't here, help me find her."
"I can't leave my post-" I cut him off angrily.
"It's order." Changbin sighs loudly before he follows along.

"Last time I saw them, they headed towards the castle. " Changbin explains.
"The castle?" I gasped. "Then, We got to get going." I walked faster.
"Haechan was being really sexual in nature.. So I don't think we have any time left before you no.."
"I know, I don't want to think about that.." I now began running. Running faster then I've ever have while thinking of all the thing that could happen... I ran all the way until I saw a body. I stopped running and slowly walked up to it.

Zoey. It's, Its her..
She was bleeding from multiple places. Not only that, but on her neck laid purple bruises as if she had been choked. Behind her was a trail of blood.. she must of tried to crawl. Obviously, she didn't get far especially in this state. I was completely shook at this. I was so much so in shock I began to shake. Until suddenly I began to fill up with anger.
"She's dead.." Changbin states.
"Im going to fucking kill him.." I start picking her up walking forward looking only straight a head.
"Nono, that's too dangerous!! A lower demon like you couldn't compete. Let's try something else Felix. We still have 24hrs until her soul leaves purgatory and enters the gates of hell. Maybe we can try something around that-"
"Probably, but I'm so angered to be passive anymore with him.." I say gritting my teeth and closing my eyes tightly.

"There's nothing you can do my son. She's so pitiful, isn't she?.. " I open my eyes to see a reflection of my self.. A clone with the same clothes and face. Someone who was covered in mortal blood from head to toe, he was just alike me.
"You really pretended to be me? So she could die in grief?..."
"You catch on fast...Your truly my son being so clever like that.." he smirks. " Anyway, Your deal is finally finished. Be happy and Don't be so childish..."
"You expect me to keep going after this??"
"Yes. Your my son. You should be more quicker with deals next time..."
"You piss me off. I won't let you get away with this.."
"Wait... Are you telling me your really in love with her? A mortal? You have to be kidding Felix. I've been down that path. It's not the way to go. Humans are humans. They are weak and greedy." He growls deeply.
"So what. I don't care. I'll kill you right now."
"You, kill me? I knew she made you delusional but this is beyond that.."
I roll my eyes clutching her before turning to Changbin. He looks at me with shocked wide eyes.
"Hold onto her." I hand her over gently.
"FELIX STOP!" Changbin shouts as he grabs her from my arms, " IT ISNT WORTH IT." I ignore him looking back to my father who wears a cheeky grin.
