I watched from the counter as Bakugou stirred around a concoction before pouring us both a glass. The bruises were still noticeable on the back of his arms, but he didn't seem to care. My head felt foggy as I rested it on my hand leaning it onto the counter below me. I watched as his back muscles tightened underneath his shirt with every movement. Bakugou slowly turned his body around not wanting to spill the fully filled glasses in his hands. His eyes looked down at the fully filled cups and then slowly trailed back up to meet mine before making his way closer to me.
"Here you go," Bakugou smiled handing me a cool drink, "nothin too special just some vodka and a little bit of lime..."
I gently bring the cup to my mouth and can already taste the lime swirl around the strong liquor. My eyebrows raise causing him to laugh out loud.
"What? Is that too much for you?" The smile on his face was electric as he stared at me waiting for my response. I couldn't help the butterflies in my stomach as I try to force out my response.
"No not at all... it's very good, but I definitely can only have one of these," I smile bringing it to my lips closing my eyes bracing for the familiar intense flavor but was surprised to notice it was not as strong as the first sip. As my eyelids slowly open I'm immediately met with Bakugou's gaze on me.
"So why did you decide to live alone? Got some deep secrets or some crazy hobbies?"
I blush and straighten up, "me!? Oh no no no?"
"Not some like murderer or something?" I could tell Bakugou was enjoying himself as he chuckled watching me squirm.
I roll my eyes in response before speaking up, "nope, just an average girl who prefers living alone then be bothered by someone else hah"
Bakugou straightened up his shoulders as he walked over to sit in the living room. I followed his lead as he slowly sat down in the plush couch. His frame was so large he made my couch look small as he leaned back stretching his long body out. Feeling uncomfortable I sat on the ottoman across from him which made him laugh and shake his head.
"You know I don't bite right?"
Blushing I slowly get up and sit on the couch with him leaving a good amount of space between us. The cool drink was rested in my hands as I gently balanced it on top of my legs. Bakugou's eyes were on me, I could feel them, but I didn't want to look so I quickly took a big sip of my drink hoping that would make me feel more confident. Feeling the cool drink quickly go to my head I decide to break the silence.
"What about you? Do you have roommates?"
"Eh actually I'm in the process of moving. Couldn't handle living with dumb and dumber, it was becoming too much of a bachelor pad for me."
I chucked happy I changed the subject. I really was curious about him and what his life was like.
"well that's exciting for you!" I smile.
"Yeah and don't think I'm weird or anything, but I'm actually moving in like 5 blocks west from here..."
I clearly had a reaction because he quickly continued talking.
"I mean I was scared to tell you that when we got here because I didn't want you to think I was a fucking creep. I legit signed the papers less than a week ago," he quickly took a sip of his drink and it was funny to watch him squirm now.
"Sure sure, you just couldn't get enough and turned into my stalker. It all makes sense now" I smile sarcastically.
"Aw hell you fucking caught me," Bakugou chuckled rolling his eyes, "I just couldn't get enough of that cute smile."
