"They are so cute!"

"Feyre if you ke-" *Click* "-ep squealing like a school-girl, you're going to wake them up!", Rhys hissed.

Currently the Inner Circle was crowded against Lorelai's bedroom door. It was a laughable, really- Feyre and Mor were fan-girling over the sight of Lorelai and Azriel cuddling, Cassian taking pictures claiming that they were for blackmail, and Rhys and Amren were making bets on what they think happened last night.

"-I'm just saying Amren, that they definitely had make-up sex!"

"Tch, Rhys you really think we wouldn't of heard them? Please, I bet they-"

"Well Duh Amren", Rhys said in a matter-of-fact tone, "They're both scarily stealthy and silent, of course we wouldn't of-"

"Uh, Guys", everyone's heads snapped towards Mor's whispering voice. "Look"

The five heads followed where Mor was pointing, only to be met with two pointed looks from the couple in question. Cassian took one more picture, the camera making a satisfying *Click* sound before he ran away, the rest following suit.

Wiping the icy glares off of their faces once everyone was out of sight, Azriel and Lorelai couldn't help but laugh at their friends' antics.

Getting out of bed, Azriel made it neatly before beginning to get ready alongside Lorelai.

*skip to the dining room*

Feyre looked up from her breakfast and scanned the room to make sure both Azriel and Lorelai weren't around, before turning to the rest of the Inner Circle.

"What's the deal with Azriel and Lorelai? Are they a thing?", Feyre whisper-shouted.

Everyone glanced at each other before Cassian spoke, waving his fork around for emphasis.

"That's the age-old question", he said simply before going back to the pile of food on his plate.

Rolling her eyes, Mor elaborated.

"No, they aren't together. They never have been, but we all know that they'll end up together eventually. The question is when."

"Why aren't they?"

"It's pretty obvious that they love each other, and they probably both know it. The problem is that they each have their own baggage, issues, whatever you want to call it" Mor said with a wave of her hand.

"A bunch of bullshit if you ask me", Cassian remarked.

With another roll of her eyes, Mor continued, "They both know that they love each other, but they ignore those feelings and keep a platonic friendship."

"Plus, Lorelai's human. Someday she's going to die and Azriel won't. I think that they both know this so they don't act on their feelings" Amren gloomily added.

Feyre was confused, "Wouldn't that make them want to spend as much time together as they can?"

"To them, a few years of love isn't worth the inevitable. Especially for Azriel, since he'll be the one living after Lorelai dies. The bottom line is that they both can't take any more heartbreak. It would still be unbearable for Azriel, hell for all of us, but Az thinks that not initiating anything will make it hurt less later on", Rhys said before changing the topic to a more positive one.

{Lorelai PoV}

After getting ready quickly and dressing in my usual clothes I hurried to the dining room. I made my plate and sat down, catching a glimpse of the current conversation around me.
