I am not sure exactly what the first card means but it seems to suggest an important friend in Ryo's past that may or may not still be around, perhaps the family member that died was a younger one. The card of present points towards the unexpected death most likely and the last two cards towards their desire for things to change and the fufilling of said changes to something better, though the exact timing of that change is unknown.

This setup looks to be rather negative and once again may indicate that the lost relative is a young person if the jack does not indicate Ryo. As for the last two, it would appear that there are two elements that may be effecting choices and success, one from the outside and one from the inside. Unfortunately I do not know how to resolve that but I will do my best to help.
