Katniss POV Me and Peeta went to our lockers and put all our stuff in and headed if to our first lesson, maths. Our teacher, Mr Abernathy, is an alcoholic, he turns up everyday sober, I'm still not sure how he still has his job. We get to class and Annie and Finnick are there talking, so I go up and introduce Peeta to them "Guys, this is Peeta Mellark, he's new" "Hey" they both say together. Me and Peeta go take our seats at the back behind Annie and Finnick. Mr Abernathy walks in but soon he is asleep in his desk so me and Peeta talk for a bit. "So where did u move from" I ask
" Well my dad runs a baking business, we used to live in the other side of Panem, but my parents got divorced and my dad wanted me and my brothers to have a new start and I didn't really like my old school, so we moved here and my dads started his business back up"
"Oh I'm sorry that ur parents got devoted and you moved, but you're going to love it here"
" Oh don't worry about my parents divorcing, I never really liked my mum she would beat me a lot, but it's fine now" *skip to lunch* " Hey Peeta come sit with us" Finnick shouts He comes over and I say " Guys this is Peeta, he's new" "Hey" everyone says "I'm Corona" says Cato "I'm Glimmer" "Marvel" says Marvel "I'm Glimmer" says Glimmer "Madge" says Madge "And I'm Gale" says Gale " You already know me and Finnick" says Annie. We all eat our lunches and once we're done Finnick shouts " Sleep over at my house tonight" he says Cheers come from all the group, we have sleep overs all the time it's kind of a thing we manly stay at Finnick a house, sometimes mine or maybe Cloves, as we have the biggest houses.
The bell rings and we go have our lessons and it's finally the end of the day, I say by to everyone an hop in my car and go home to get ready for the sleep over.
Annie's gunna pick me up at 7:00 that means I've got an hour to get ready, I get out my duffle bag, I pack all the essentials, Underwear, socks, toothbrush and toothpaste etc, i pack my favourite pjs, high wasted navy blue shorts, with a light pink crop top, I also packed some navy plume pyjama trousers invade I get cold, I pack baggy sweater that say NYC on it, my pink sliders and my outfit for school the next morning.(A/N at the bottom of page) The doorbell rings and when I open the door Annie's there waiting "You ready" " Yep" I shout by to my mom, Plutarch and Prim, and then jump in the car and drive to Finnick's.
