A story in blue and purple

Getting a job.

Finally. Soundwave finally did it after a lot of effort. They concluded their studies and was ready to get a job.

But where?

Their friend Blaster got a job in the radio, after all, he liked to talk and know about anything that happens, Soundwave likes that too, but doesn't feel like working for that. Blaster has a lot of confidence, something that Soundwave simply lacks. 

- You should work for someone else, is kinda great, you don't give the money, you receive it!- Blaster said, moving his audials. 

- I know, but I'm not sure about it - Soundwave replied, crossing their servos of both hands.

- What about that friend of yours...Mega..what? -

- Megatron? -

- Yeah, that guy - Blaster said, drinking from a can of enerGULP - He's older than you, right? Probably he knows where you should work -

Soundwave tought for a minute. - You are right - They said - Maybe he knows -

Blaster looked at the cronometer in his backpack. It was a bit late. - Well, about that, is my time to work, that gossip isn't gonna be told by itself, right? Haha - Blaster went walking away - 'bye Sound! -

- See you later, Blaster! - Soundwave laughed for themself. That almost sounded like a rhyme, it was funny. 

Megatron? Where Megatron said that he was working? Soundwave didn't know anything about their friend since the megacycle began. They tought that Megatron will be angry or annoyed if they interrupt his work. But still, Soundwave tried to find him. 

Soundwave is one of those cybertronians with abilities. Theirs were related to sound, that's the reason for their designation, it makes sense, right? There wasn't so much people around, so they could use their powers without feeling ashamed. Soundwave closed both optics and put their hands to the front. Also moved both audials, positioning them in a diagonal way. 

- Megatron, where are you? I need your help - Soundwave whispered. Their audials were moving, trying to find a signal. His signal. - Where? Where?? - Finally found him. Megatron was pretty far, but Soundwave could find where he was before the night will came. 

Soundwave stopped using their powers and walked. Until heard something. A thunder. One of Soundwave's worst fears. They put the antennas of their audials down, for fear, and because their creators had told them when their was a sparkling, it is useful for avoiding lightning strikes. 

It started to rain. It started with tiny raindrops. Soundwave started to walk a bit faster, the rain wasn't a problem, but soon it will, probably. The raindrops were a bit bigger. Soundwave walked even faster, the sky was turning dark. They doesn't have body lights or even a lantern, and started to worry. 

- No, nonononono!! - They said. Another thunder sounded, louder, it was closer this time. The fear was invading Soundwave, who know had tears in the optics. - Primus, help me-  They ran. It doesn't matter if their pedes ended with mud. They had to run away. And then, a lightning, just a few meters before where Soundwave was. - AHHHHHHH!!! - They screamed, in horror. Soundwave ran even faster, following the track of the signal, they were getting closer. 

- Almost, almost!! - Soundwave finally arrived, it was a not-so-big building. And knocked the door, without opening it, they didn't noticed that it was a sliding door. Someone was there. A young cybertronian, maybe the same age of Soundwave, a flyer one. He has red and white colors, he was really different to Soundwave, he looked as someone with a good economical position, and Soundwave looked like a poor. 

- Ugh - He said, with disgust - You don't look good. My designation is Starscream, by the way. What about yours? -

Soundwave looked at their pedes, with lots of mud. Their back was wet and also has leaves in some parts of the helm. - My... My designation is Soundwave. I.. I'm looking for Meg- -

Some heavy steps were heard coming. Soundwave antennas move up and looked.

- Soundwave? Is that you? - It was Megatron. He could distinguish their voice,  even in a crowd that sounded the same. 

- Megatron, long time no see you -  It was just a megacycle, but it felt like an amount of time. Soundwave was about to say something to their friend, but was hugged by him.

Starscream went away to his work, Megatron seemed okay. The seeker has something better to do. 

- Oh Soundwave, I was looking for you - Megatron said, giving Soundwave pats in their back.

- Really? - They said. 

- You know about communications and all that stuff, right? -

- Uh, yes! -

- Well, I have the perfect job for you!! - He said, guiding Soundwave through the building. - You will love it! -

Oh my gosh, I think this is longer than the chapter before! Hahaha!!

Extra notes~:

1. Soundwave and Blaster studied the same career, but in different places. They met before in high school.

2. Starscream is still in a relationship with Skyfire.

3. Shockwave isn't in this chapter, but don't worry! He is coming back! He is a main character after all!
