A story in blue and purple

What have I done?!

Soundwave arrived to the building where their apartment was. There was their loyal tiny friend Laserbeak, sitting on a chair. Suddenly, the door was slammed. There was Soundwave, with their legs shaking. Somehow they closed the door.

Laserbeak flied and stood in front of Soundwave, who tried to move. They walked awkwardly, and was sweating. Soundwave managed to get to the bedroom, but fell down on their knees. Laserbeak squawked worried. 

- I... I made a terrible mistake... - Soundwave put their mask off and threw it away. Laserbeak caught it before it will be lost. Her best friend was shaking of fear. They was scared and nervous and about to cry. 

- I shouldn't had accepted that-  Soundwave fell down completely. They was almost curled in a ball. - What I've done?! - They cried silently. Laserbeak was next to Soundwave's hand. They gave some pats to the bird and gently rubbed their back. - What if he doesn't like me? What if I lose control, Laserbeak? - Soundwave now had an ache on their tank. They want to purge it. But felt too weak to move. Throwing up in the floor while being on it will be really disgusting, so they tried to hold up. Laserbeak has seen this before and knows how to act. She rubs the face of their caretaker to calm them down, almost like saying "It's okay".

- Do you remember Shockwave? The guy I talked to you about? - Soundwave said, while Laserbeak took a sweet from a box under the bed. They were sweet and perfect for Soundwave when they feel nervous - Well....oh, thank you - They took it in a hand and put it inside their mouth. It was perfect to take nausea away. - Well, you see, this guy is actually friendly. He is smart, more than Megatron and Blaster, I must say. - Soundwave wasn't curled anymore, talking to Laserbeak is relaxing. The little bird sat on Soundwave's tummy. 

- ...He is a genius, you know? - Laserbeak squawked back - Wait - Soundwave was about to sit up and Laserbeak went off. The blue being went to their bed and looked to the roof - Come here, my friend-  Soundwave put a pillow over their abdominal frame and pat it. Laserbeak went there and sit. She liked to do that, specially after Soundwave fills their tank, it gets specially warm.

- What was I saying?? Ah yes, Shockwave. He is funny actually, but he seems like he's always thinking. I sense something is bothering him but he can't express it. What could it be? - Soundwave was silent for a moment, looking at the roof. 

- He is a curious mech. Maybe he could be a good friend, I dunno. He invited me to hang out...and I accepted-  Soundwave did a facepalm and deeply sighed. - I've never went outside with anyone. Only with Megatron...but he is different. Oh Laserbeak-  The young one gently hugged the tiny bird with their hands. - Was that a good decision? I can't leave him waiting...well I actually can, but that would be mean - Laserbeak chirped - Yeah yeah, I know... Primus help me... - 

The candy on Soundwave's mouth wasn't here anymore, they've had eat it. - Oh.. - They was feeling better now. - You know what? I'm old enough. I can do this. I will have a new friend, and I won't panic! But still, I will take this candies, just in case. Thank you for listening, Laserbeak -  Soundwave rubbed their friend in the head and closed their optics, and in a few minutes, Soundwave fell in recharge.
