Mentions of being self-conscious weight wise.

Wanda groaned as her alarm clock went off. She got out of bed, turning it off. She grabbed a dress from her closet. She decided against it, putting it back. She grabbed her black dress with long gray sleeves instead. She liked this one better.

She took a shower and brushed her teeth. She dropped her towel so she could put on her dress, but she suddenly noticed something. Her stomach was even more noticeable than she realized. Wanda wasn't fat, far from it. But she definitely wasn't as skinny as she had been. She thought for a second before going against better judgment and jumping up onto the scale. 95 pounds. How'd she manage to gain 20 pounds in three months?! She tried to shoo away the thought.

She tugged on her bra and panties before throwing on her dress. She pulled back her hair while she did her makeup. Her makeup took about fifteen minutes, because she couldn't get the dang eyeliner to go straight and she had to keep starting over.

Once she was done, she looked in the mirror and smiled at herself. She looked good today. But then her eyes traveled down to her stomach, making her feel much less confident. She had gained a lot really quickly. Thirty pounds in three months?! If she kept that up, she'd be... 115 three months from now! That definitely seemed too much for her to be. But she knew that was a 'healthy' weight the doctor would be pleased with. But... it made her kind of uncomfortable. How to make that gain slow down?

Eat less. That was it. She had been eating a lot. But if she only ate one or two meals a day, or three light meals, that would fix the problem. It wasn't like she was gonna starve herself, she knew better. She would just be careful. She wasn't trying to STOP weight gain, she just wanted it to go slower, so she'd have more time to adjust.

She left the bathroom and went to the kitchen.

Steve kissed the top of her head, giving her a hug. As a clingy person, Wanda enjoyed all of the physical affection she received at the Rogers-Barnes apartment.

"Looking good, Wanda!" Bucky called from the couch.

"Thanks!"

"Wanda, Bucky and I have got to go to work today. I'll be back in time for lunch, so I'll bring you something. Then I've gotta take you to the doctor. Whatcha want?"

"I don't know. Maybe a salad or some chicken soup?"

"Sounds good, sweetie. I'll get it for you. You want both?"

"No, I- you know what? Sure, if I can't finish it, I'll save it for dinner."

"Alright then. You want some pancakes?"

"No, I think I'll just have some cereal." She grabbed the box of Cheerios.

Steve and Bucky gave her a weird look.

"But you love pancakes," Bucky said.

"I don't really feel like it."

"Since when?" Steve asked.

"Since now," Wanda said angrily. "Leave me alone!" She grabbed the bowl of cereal she'd made and walked back to her room, slamming the door.

"What the heck?" Bucky said.

"Crazy teenage hormones?" Steve suggested.

"Maybe. That was weird. I've never seen her act like that before. I get that she's a teenager and I should kind of expect her to lash out at some point, but jeez."

"Maybe she's tired. I don't know how much she slept last night."

"She barely got any cereal though. AND she didn't get milk. She always gets milk in her cereal."
