The Spike Ushijima Wakatoshi x Reader

Training

After the *cough* events of last night, Ushijima decided to stay for a couple of days. For a couple of weeks you guys acted as if you were a married couple living together and with your father on a business trip it seemed more and more like that.

After a month of training the girls team for the tournament, the team was well polished and the coach didn't even need to be there. You were finishing up some drills with some of your juniors when the rest of the team came up to you. The captain held out a jersey with 1 and the captains mark.

"We've decided to make you captain. With out you we wouldn't even be able to win a round in the tournament."

Everyone agreed while you stared with shock at the jersey.

"I remember saying I didn't want to be a captain. But just this once I'll agree."

You hugged your teammates and the all crowded around you.

"Let's go kick some ass!"

They all yelled incoherent screams of agreement and excitement. They were all hyped up, mainly because the tournament was starting next week.

After practice you were making sure everyone left before you finished cleaning. While picking up the last ball you heard a familiar voice ringing in your ears.

"Y/n, I thought you'd be heading home by now."

He hugged you from behind and you looked up at him.

"I had to stay for a while afterwards because apparently there's some paperwork to be captain."

He smile down at you.

"I think you'll look gray with the captain's mark."

You giggled at his sudden remark.

"Well then, shall we start to head home?"

He nodded and followed you outside while you looked up the gym. The sun was setting making a golden light shine on your boyfriend's face making him look almost angelic.

After the two of you got home, you began to cook Sashimi and Yakisoba. You cooked some rice as well and set the table.

"Can't believe the tournament is already next week."

You nodded in agreement.

"Feels just like yesterday when that team was a broken machine laying around."

The two of you sat down to eat.

"Itadakimasu"

After dinner, you took a shower and got ready for bed. When you got out of the shower, Ushijima was already sleeping like a log in your bed which made you smile. You cuddle in right next to him and drifted to sleep.

In the morning, Ushijima was the first to wake up and get ready, mainly because he had morning practice and needed to get up earlier. You also got up at the same time. Not for practice for your team, but just to have some more time to study in the library before school. Your team favored Afterschool practices.

During lunch you headed to the cafeteria to get something to eat before going to see Ushijima. You just ordered Miso soup, rice, with some grilled meat and vegetables. After eating, you headed to the gym where the team was practicing .

After classes you went and dropped off some textbooks in your locker but when you opened it, a letter fell out. You looked at the little heart drawn on the front and opened the letter.
