He gave me a long look. "I see. We'll talk about this later. From now, I'll tell you what you're going to be doing, (L/N)."
He brushed it off... just like that.
I subconsciously flicked my eyes to Todoroki for support, before realizing what I was doing.
His gaze was cold and unforgiving, and I was the one who looked away first, trying to wipe away the tears that were still slowly trickling down my face.
"You're going to be practicing over there." Mr. Aizawa pointed. "You won't be wearing your gloves or hat."
"But—"
"No interrupting. You need to become more comfortable with letting others see them. We can't have you freeze up in battle like you did during the final exam."
I bit my lip, but nodded.
"From there, you'll be using Emotional Baggage to take all the negative emotions that everyone in both classes may be feeling. Especially pain and exhaustion. You have to be careful not to take anything from us. Every now and then, Mandalay will send you an instruction. For example, 'only the boys.' You will have to change the emotions that you're carrying so that it's only the male students."
I suppressed a grimace. This was going to kill me.
But then there was... the next part...
"While you're doing this, you will be practicing using Turning the Tables. First with objects, then with plants, and by the end of the week you will be practicing on me."
"But... we don't even know if I can use it on objects or plants. And how will I get permission?"
"That is yours to figure out. Now, moving on..."
He just...

It was incredibly relaxing to finally let all of the emotions that weren't mine slip out of my mind and return to their owners.
Even though I was still tired, it wasn't anywhere near what I felt carrying everyone else's exhaustion.
Mr. Aizawa had been right about my quirk, I had discovered. I could take on the properties of things other than humans.
It was odd, and somewhat unnerving, but it felt like more of a trade than a steal now.
Only a little like that though.
Students from Class B shot surprised glances at me as I approached, and I couldn't help but feel self-conscious.
Mr. Aizawa had confiscated my hats and gloves for the whole camp, so there was nothing I could do about it.
I still attempted to block them from view, but I was less successful than I would have liked.
"Now, remember what I said yesterday?" Pixie-Bob asked us. "'Today's the only day we'll be doing stuff for you'!"
"At least make your own food!" Interjected Ragdoll, a hero with green hair and a red spot around her eye, and dressed in a yellow version of their costume.
In front of them were packages for us to use o make our curry.
Hero Aca Curry.
"Yessir..."
"You all look exhausted! But that doesn't mean you can make any old sloppy cat food!"
"It's true that part of rescuing someone is filling the stomachs and spirits of those exhausted during a disaster." Iida pondered. "That's UA for you! No opportunity wasted! Let's make the most delicious curry in the world, everyone!"
