The Arrival

Another one I know I'm just on fire.

Olivia's POV:

Today's the day. I am with Molly driving to the airport because we all know that my dad would never allow me to leave. I snuck out and I know I'm going to be in big trouble when I get home but that can wait this is way more important. It's slowly sinking in that this could be my future. "You okay?" Molly said snapping me out of my thoughts. "Yeah, just anxious ya know, it's also my first time on a plane." I replied. "Yeah, you will be okay though, I know you will, yes we have always been competitive but you have always been the better player, you have gone through a lot and you deserve this opportunity, even if you fuck it all up I am so proud of you and your mother is too, just focus on what you want and just pretend it's just us two playing against each other." she says. "W-Wow that was inspiring, what would I do if i didn't have you." I say shocked at how she just made that up. "Yeah that was weird, don't expect me to be that kind to you normally, anyway we are here." She says more normally now. "Oh god this is it." I say my anxiety rising. "Hey, remember what I said and I will ring you everyday to check up on you." she promised me. We walked in and had one last goodbye hug, which hurt but it was worth it because this is a big moment for me. I got onto the plane and it took off. It was scary at first but then when we was in the air it was fine. I went to sleep for the next 3 hours. (I'm sorry if the times don't work I'm from England and I have no clue how long it takes to get from one side of America to another)

Tobin Heath's POV: 

There is apparently a new player on the team.  I'm looking forward to meeting her Vlatko has kinda talked about her and she seems like a cool person, I hope she is anyway because I am on my way to pick her up. I wait in the area to pick her up from the airport. I have a picture of her so hopefully I can spot her. I wait for about 5 minutes until I see that her plane has landed. Suddenly I see a girl appear who looks exactly like the girl in the picture. I go over to her and tap on her shoulder. She jumps immediately looking scared. As soon as she sees me she apologises. "Hi, I'm sorry it was my first time on a plane and you just scared me a bit" she says. "Oh, I'm sorry, I was just told to pick someone up and you look like the girl I am looking for, Olivia Lewis." I ask her. It looked like she cringed at the name and she replied quickly. "Yeah I am just please don't call me Olivia call me Liv." She corrects. "Oh okay, I'm sorry I didn't mean to offen-" she cuts me off. "Oh no, you didn't offend me don't worry I just don't like my real name that much." She says. "Okay then Liv, let's head to the car so we can drive to the hotel, need any help with your luggage?" I ask her because she looked quite tired after the flight. "That sounds like a plan and no thank you I've got it because I'm just so strong." She says making a joke. I laugh. Yup she is 100% going to fit in.
 

                        Olivia's POV:
Me and Tobin are sitting in the car on the way to the hotel. I think she could tell how anxious I was because she turned around and said this. "Hey kido, look at me, I think you are going to fit in just fine around here you have already made a good impression on me and all that you have to do is be a good teammate and show that you are a good enough player to be on this team, nothing to hard right?" Yeah nothing to hard...
