The call up (USWNT fanfiction)

Explaination

Hi I'm back. This chapter is going to basically the team supporting Liv so enjoy. 

Liv's:

I text Vlatko to see if he would let me have the meeting room for a bit to explain what happened. I also texted Ash and Ali to come to mine and Tierna's room so that they can stand up with me. I heard a knock on the door. I let the goalie and defender in. Ash hugged me but obviously not to hard. "You okay?" She whispered so only I hear it. I nod my head. Ali then comes up to me. "Okay is Tierna already down?" I nod again not wanting to talk to much because of my nerves. "Okay let's head down then." She grabs my hand and we walk down to the meeting room. We are in front of the door when my breathing picks up. Fuck, fuck. I fall to the ground and start crying. I feel a weight on my chest. "Listen to my heartbeat, calm down I got you." I heard Ali say. Ash went in and said we might be a bit. I hated people seeing me like this. Weak and pathetic. Ali keeps whispering soothing words into my ear. I start calming down after about 5 minutes. "Okay you good now." Ali says looking into my eyes. "Yeah sorry that was weird why did you stay with me?" "Why wouldn't I you needed help and I am always here for you." Ali said sincerely. I look at her with tears in my eyes. "Thank you." I look up to see Ash scared. "I'm sorry if I scared you." "No don't worry I have panic attacks too, I've just never seen one in person before, I'm sorry Ali it looks so scary." Ash says. "It's cool I know how to handle it cause Kyle used to have them all the time." Ali says remembering the nights she stayed up looking after her brother. "Right you ready to go?" Ash asks. I take a deep breath and nod my head. We open the door to see the whole team already there chatting between themselves. Even Dawn and the rest of the trainers where there. As soon as I walk in they all stop talking. 

Alex Morgan's POV:

I've never really talked to Liv that much but having Tobin and my two fellow Orlando players know her very well I could tell that this kid was important to them. I could also tell that the brown-eyed Portland player sitting next to me was quite nervous. I wrapped my arm around her back making sure she knew I was there for her. She looks at me. I could tell that she thanking me and then we both turn our attention to the 17-year old at the front of the room. "Okay imma keep this short and fairly simple and if you have any questions at the end I will try and answer them all." She then starts explaining what her injury was and we are all glad to here that she is only out for 5-7 days. Even though I had barely seen the kid play when she made the shot that Carli sent at her I could tell she was good. She then starts explaining her past. We were all shocked when we found out her mum was dead. Then she started explaining how her Dad used to abuse her until he was sent to jail yesterday. To say the team were angry would be an understatement. Some of the team where crying, others were sitting in shock but most of the team where fuming. I could tell that Tobin was crying and I wiped her tears. I could also tell that Kelley sitting next to me was tense. "You okay Kells?" I ask her. She ignores me and focuses on Liv. Once Liv had finished she asked if there were any questions. Immediately Kelley's hand went up. "Yes O'Hara." "The person on the phone, I thought it was your manager cause you called him sir but it wasn't it was-" Kelley couldn't finish her sentence because she started crying. "Yes Kells it was my dad." Liv said looking down. "I'm sorry I should've-" "No!" Liv shouted. Everyone looked at her. "No-one blame this on yourself okay. Kelley you didn't realize but I'll tell you what you did do, you invited me to have breakfast with you, no-one has done that they normally look at me and think what a freak or werido but you didn't, you made me feel welcome, all of you did, it's insane I have never trusted people like this except for my best friend Molly, you guys are like a family to me, I love you guys." Liv says with tears going down her face. Jesus, I was now crying this kid really had a way with words. "Omg you made Alex cry!" Pinoe shouted which made everyone laugh including me and Liv. "Okay that's all I wanted to say so if you guys wanna come with me, Ash and Ali we are going to go shopping if you wanna come we are leaving at 2:30 ish meet in the lobby." The whole team shouted that they will join and we start heading out to go to our rooms to get changed to go out. "Al you coming." My roommate Kelley shouts. "I'll be up in a min!" I shout back to her. She nods and starts walking out because she had already hugged Liv and shared a few words. I wait until everyone has finished talking to Liv. Once everyone cleared I started to walk over to her. 

Liv's POV:

Alex fucking Morgan is walking towards me. "Hey I just want to say that I am really proud of you and I am always here if you want to talk." The forward says. "T-thanks." I say stuttering. God you sound dumb. "Well I am down for that shopping trip." She says laughing. Oh yeah I kinda already forgot about that. So many people were hugging me. "Imma head to my room and get changed see ya in the lobby." Alex says whilst hugging me gently. She walks off. I think I finally feel loved...

1041 Words, 26th of June 2020. I can't believe overnight I have like 500 reads it's insane thanks guys. I have made a plan On Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday you have 1 chapter per day and then at the weekends you have as many as I can be bothered to write.
