The call up (USWNT fanfiction)

Break

Hey guys thank you so much for the support it really does mean a lot to me. I am thinking of maybe making another book. I will continue this one obviously but I just don't know whether you guys will like that so please tell me. Anyways let's get into the chapter.

Liv's POV:

"So..." Tierna says when we go into a private area. "So?" I ask her. She looks at me with the piercing blue eyes. "I'm sorry." She says sincerely. I just nod. "Liv please say something." "Yep." say annoying her even more. "You've been ignoring me all week you can't be like this." "Tierna I almost got raped! You kissed someone else-" "I was drunk!" She interrupted. I look at her dumbfounded. "That's your fucking excuse." I say in a deep voice. "I didn't know what I was doing." She says trying to make her sound like she wasn't in the wrong. I just shake my head and look down. "Listen Liv I think we should take a break." That sentence broke my heart. There was a thing that my mum always used to tell me. If you get a broken leg during a game doctors can fix it, but there is no remedy for a broken heart. She would say that to me to stop me from dating anyone. I guess she was right. I shake my head. "No Tierna I'm sorry it's my fault please just don't leave me." I say my voice cracking at the end. "Liv we both know we need a break." She says also crying. I open the door and run out. That's how I deal with stressful situations. I run. I finally stop and I see myself at the beach. I learned to surf quite a while ago and I find it quite relaxing. I get a board and head to the sea. 

Ash's POV:

I see Liv run out of the room her and Tierna was in. "Liv!" I shout but it's like she couldn't even hear me. I see Tierna come out of the room after her. This time there was no Hope around so I start walking towards Tierna. "What the fuck did you just do?" I ask her. She sighs and puts her head in her hands. "I told her we needed a break." She confesses. "What the fuck! Tierna she was willing to forgive you!" I shout. "I know Ash!" "Then why did you do it!" "I don't know." We have a shouting match and then she pushes me. This is when I snap and try to punch her. "Stop! Ash!" I hear Hope yell but it was to late I punched Tierna in the arm. She punches me back and soon enough we fight. Half of the team was trying to stop me and Tierna from fighting and I guess the rest went to find Liv. The team finally manage to break us up and Ali comes and calms me down whilst most of the youngins where helping Tierna. I hit her quite a few times I could tell by my hands being bruised and cut. She also hit me a couple of times too. I see Vlatko walking towards us. "Shit" I whisper. "Tierna! Ash! My office! Now!" He screams at both of us. Well here goes nothing. I'm being kicked off of the world cup team. 

Vlatko's POV:

I heard the fight and I had to have a chat with the girl's. "Sit." I say in a calmer tone than what it was in the hall. "What initiated the fight?" I ask. "Tierna took a break with Liv." I look at them confused. Tierna sighs. "I was dating Liv sir." I nod knowing that already. "Okay so you where both doing this to protect a teammate?" I question. They both nod their heads. "Where is this teammate right now?" They both look sheepish and shrug their shoulders. "Okay I have an idea." I say. They both perk up. "If you two can work together to find Liv. I won't kick you off of the team but you will have a two match ban." They look at each other and nod their head once. "Yep we will do it coach. Thank you for this." Ash says sincerely. "I know both of you well enough to know that it won't happen again and this was just a misunderstanding. Before you guys go and find Liv head over to Dawn and the medical team to make sure you are both okay." I say making their safety a priority. They nod and stand up. I then see Ash outstretch her arms and invite Tierna in for a hug. They hug it out and I relax. This team is like family there will always be fights but we will stick together through it. 

Tierna's POV:

Me and Ash head down to medical. "I'm sorry." Ash says. I look at her. "I overreacted it's just she is my daughter now and I only just found out that you were dating and then you kissed Andi and I just lost it." I nod my head understanding. "It's fine Ash. I'm sorry too. Do you think Liv will take me back?" I question looking down. "Oh 100% she is whipped for you." She laughs and I laugh with her. "So are you two going to come out to the team or?" I look down. She takes my hand and holds it. "I don't know. I mean if she is comfortable then I would be happy to come out to the team and then my family. I'm not worried about my family. I am kinda worried about the team but the fans I'm just so scared that they will hate me." "Look kid I won't lie coming out is a tough process. My family didn't accept me that much at first but then they met Ali and they could tell that I was happy and they liked that. The team also won't give two flying fucks." I laugh. "We've already got like 4 or 5 openly out players and trust me their are definitely more on the team. The fans won't care. I can't lie some might because there will always be dicks in the world but fuck em. You deserve to be out, happy and proud." Ash says confidently. I nod my head and we hug again. "Thanks Ash. I'm sorry again." I say into her chest. "It's fine kid now come on let's get checked out." She says winking. I laugh and we go to the medics. We finish getting treatment and we then head out to find Liv. 

Liv's POV:
After surfing for a while I just lay on the beach. I close my eyes until I hear footsteps coming towards me. I open my eyes to see a kid and her mum standing there. "Hi I hate to bother you but are you Liv Lewis." I stand up. "That is me." "Can you sign this jersey and take a picture with my daughter." The woman says and I nod my head. "Of course. What's your name kiddo." "Billie." She says nervously. I sign the jersey. "Do you play Billie?" She starts getting excited. "Yeah I play goalie just like you! You are the best player!" She shouts. "Awww really thank you." I write a note as well. 'I believe in you kid. You have the same passion I did. Just keep trying and don't let people get you down. Can't wait to see you play for the national team. You can make it just believe in yourself. Love Liv Lewis' Her mum reads it and thanks me. I then take pictures with her and mess around for a bit. They had to leave so I lay back down. "Wow already have fans do ya." I hear the voice of my mum. I stand up and open my eyes next to her was Tierna. I look down. Tierna runs at me and so I instinctively catch her. She leans down and kisses me. I hear a happy scream from Ash and we break apart. "I'm sorry babe do you forgive me?" Tierna says looking down. I do my normal and grab her chin and make her look me in the eye. "Of course." I say and then we kiss again. "I just got that all on a video." Ash shouts happy. "Really Ash you ruined another moment." I say laughing. "Oops sorry anyway come on let's head back to the hotel." Me and Tierna nod. I realize that she had a bruise on her eye. "Babe what the fuck happened to your eye?" I ask her scared. "Ask your mother she's the one who beat me up when you ran away." "Seriously! You guys fought! Are you getting kicked off of the team?!" I scream at them both. They both laugh and Ash answers my question. "Nope. Two match ban though." "Seriously!" I shout and tackle them both to the ground. We all laugh. I guess there is such thing as true love...

1509 Words. 12th of July 2020. Tierna and Ash fought a bit just for the people who wanted to see them fight :) Anyway what do you guys think about the new book thing. It will still be about USWNT but it will be a bit different. Have a great day/night guys! I love you all!
