The call up (USWNT fanfiction)

The Incident

So quick update I forgot to change the dates on some of the story so I wrote it the day before and put the 20th when I uploaded on the 21st sorry if that has confused anyone.

Olivia's POV:
"Come on we need to get you ready for your first day of training." Tierna says. "Yeah okay." I say panicking a bit. Tierna obviously noticed this. "You will be fine, coach wouldn't have asked you to come if you were bad." She says trying to reassure me. "Yeah you've got a point." "I do don't I, right let's get ready." Tierna. After about 30 minutes we are finally ready. "Okay it's 10:50 so I say we relax for a bit before Ash comes." I suggest. "Liv what's that on your neck." Tierna asks "What?" I say confused. "The like blue bruise thing." She answers. 'Oh shit' I think to myself. She is talking about where my dad strangled me a couple of days ago. "It's probably nothing" I say trying not to freak her out. "I'll have a look." I say going into the bathroom. I enter the bathroom and lock the door. I get foundation and cover the bruise. 'God this is going to be hard to explain' I think to myself.

Tierna's POV:

Something is defiantly wrong with Liv. The marks looked really serious. She stepped out of the bathroom. "What was that" I ask scared. "It was umm-" She starts to explain. There was a knock on the door that interrupted her. "Yo, time to get on the bus." Ash screams through the closed door. "We are talking about this later." I say to her. She just looks down at her hands and nods. I open the door to go outside and ignore Ash and head down to the lobby. I don't know why I am annoyed, I think it's just because I want her to feel safe. I know it's only her second day but I really like her being a teammate she just makes everyone laugh and feel better. "Hey you good." Andi asks me. "Yeah I'm fine come on let's get on the bus." I tell her knowing she will want to mess around on the bus. "Cool let's a go." She says in a Mario voice. "God you are so weird." I say laughing. "I know." She says smiling happy that she cheered me up. 

Ash's POV:

Me and Ali start to walk over to Liv and Tierna's room. "What was that." I hear Tierna say. "What do you think they are talking about." I ask Ali. She just shrugs. "It was umm-" I hear Liv say in a quiet voice. Ali knocks on the door. I look at her and glare at her. "I know you really didn't want to eavesdrop on their conversation." I just nod at her. "Yo, time to get on the bus." I yell at them through the door. The door opens and Tierna walks out obviously looking angry and ignores me. I don't think she even saw that Ali was here. Liv then walks out looking sad. "Hey, you okay." I ask her worried. She just nods and starts walking to the lobby. I look at Ali scared. "Hey she will be okay, you will be with her all during practise and you can keep an eye on her." Ali says also looking worried for the kid. We run to catch up to Liv. "Come on kid you don't have to tell us what's wrong but at least be happy for your first training session." I tell her.

Olivia's POV:

All I could think about is the last thing Tierna said. We will talk about this later. I need to think of a good excuse.  Fuck,fuck,fuck if Tierna finds out and then tells the team my dad will kill me. Literally. "KID!" I hear Ash yell at me. I jumped so much that I thought I was going to have a panic attack. "Woah hey, I'm sorry, it's just me Ash, okay, calm down, I just needed to get your attention." She says making sure I was okay. "Yeah, I'm sorry about that." I say scared that she was going to treat me different because I was scared easily. "It's okay you don't have to apologise for being scared." She reassures me. "Anyway let's get on this bus and you Liv are going to crush this training." Ali says with a big smile. "Yeah come on kid this will be a fun experience and hopefully your new job." Ash says in a happy tone. "Yeah let's go." I tell them excited.  I'm starting to like this but I can't stay here, can I...
