"C'mon, you can hang out with my girlfriend and her frie-"

"I'm going to stop you right there. It was nice talking to you dude-" Destiny called back to her teammate, waving him off as she began to walk away.

"Wait, where are you going-" He began.

"I'll see you at practice! Byeeee..." Destiny quickly dismissed, moving away from the dance floor where the trap of thousands of moving figures and unwanted company lay. Every second someone managed to trip themselves on her crutches because they were completely BLIND! She knew she wasn't just INVISIBLE here! After a while, she just got used to it. Now, she just found it funny.

"Move, move, crutches here!" She warned through the passing students as she made her way to the food table. "Excuse me..." She waited for the unmoving clique of students. "Excuse me..." None of them even seemed to glance at her. "Ugh get out of the way." She pushed her way through the students that never managed to hear her.

"Geez." She heard them mutter as she forced her way through as if she hadn't JUST- No, Destiny. It isn't worth it. If she let it bother her, she'd kill somebody.

Music blared more softly around the gym, allowing Destiny to finally rest to where she could speak normal volume. She neared the snack bar and her eyes caught the lonely figure sighing with exhaustion. Once Stiles caught sight of the popcorn bowl laid out on the snack table he grabbed a chunk, stuffing it into his mouth. Destiny laughed before moving toward him.

"Hello, teammate!" Destiny announced suddenly making Stiles jump and flip his head in her direction.

"Oh, it's you." Stiles sang relieved once Destiny reached his side in her crutches. "Do you just love scaring me or-"

"Yeah, definitely do love to. It's the highlight of my day." She admitted immediately with a proud smile. "And i might not be able to walk or dance but i can see everything." She joked, pointing at the popcorn.

"I'm surprised you actually showed up." He glanced back at her with a smile, stopping for a second as he looked her up and down. He raised his brows, making Destiny realize what he was looking at.

"Oh... I had to do the whole dress thing tonight. It feels weird." Destiny admitted with an awkward laugh, having the instinct to straighten her ponytail but she was thankful that Sabrina's voice shot in her head, ordering her not to touch her hair. Who knows what Sabrina would do if she messed it up. She forced her hand toward the chips instead, stuffing one into her own mouth.

"It looks..." He paused, continuing to scan her with an utter silence that stretched a second too long. Destiny took the response as something you probably wouldn't want to hear. Actually, what she definitely rather not hear.

"Wow, don't have a stroke, Stiles. I know it's...weird." Destiny looked away, reaching for another chip. This is going a-mazing.

"No, no, it's good. It looks really..." He nodded now as he looked at her with a smile. "...good. It's just, I never imagined you in a dress." Destiny chuckled, nodding herself in agreement. Even Rosa hadn't seen her in a whole get up like this. She eyed Stiles' outfit in return. A black coat and pants with a white button-up. Wrapped under the collar was a striped tie. She could barely believe he was in a suit herself. She would've imagined it hanging over him adorably like a kid in one of those baby tuxes but she was surprised to see otherwise. Like he looked...good. Really good. Destiny looked back to his short buzzed hairstyle and the puppy face she recognized her teammate with. Too good.
