Julia'a POV

I lightly creaked open my eyes a little bit, groggy from sleep. I don't want to get up, I thought in my head like a toddler. I'm too comfy. I froze when I felt something warm and soft on my hip. My eyes shot open as I looked down at my sheets in the pitch black darkness. As my eyes adjusted, I realized it was a hand. I instantly relaxed as I remembered where I fell asleep and that it was Liam's hand.

"Hey Jules..."he whispered in my ear, his voice thick as he wrapped his arm tighter around my waist.

"Hey..." I whispered back, turning around so that I was facing him with his arm now wrapped around my back. I closed my eyes, enjoying the warmth he gave me.

"Guess what...?" He trailed off, kissing my head lightly as he pulled me closer to his chest.

"What?" I mumbled into his shirt. Then he said something I never thought I would hear.

"I think I have a bruise from you kicking me in the shin last night..." He trailed of. My eyes shot open and I was worried he would be angry with me.

"I'm sorry... It's from... The ..." I said, but then I realized something.

I didn't have a nightmare.

I looked to Liam to see him smirking at me.

"Nightmare?" He finished for me, holding my hand as we both sat up into a sitting position. I shook my head, confused as to why I haven't dreamt about Sam. Or why I hadn't woken up in the night, shaking like a leaf as I curled into a frighted ball under the sheets. He just squeezed my hand tightly, making me look back up at him. He was smiling sweetly at me before he said:

"I love you..." My eyes widened with glee as my smile exceeded the space it was given on my cheeks.

"Love you too Li..." I whispered before I lightly pressed my lips to his, only for a few seconds. The feeling of my stomach dropping taking over, once again.

After looking into each others eyes for a good minute, just enjoying the moment, he leaned in, closing his eyes. I mimicked his actions, putting my arms around his neck. Just before he kissed me, Stan just HAD to wake up.

"MY EEEYYYYEEESS!" He screamed, hiding his face under his stripped covers. We sprung apart, throwing a quick sheepish smile to each other and then glaring holes in his duvet.

"Stan!" Liam whined as he started climbing down the ladder, and sending me a wink before his head disappeared. I blushed a burning crimson when I slid over to the stairs, messing up the covers as I went.

"Hey Jules?" Liam asks me.

"Yesh?" I grin back, just as I jumped to the floor. He smiled at me before replying.

"Me and Stan are gonna go to the store for some breakfast, you wanna come, or are you good here?"

"Hmmm.... Nah I think I'll stay here, catch up on my reading," I smiled brightly. I skipped over to him across the gray rug and planted a small kiss on his cheek. His lips spread into a blithe grin as he smiled down at me, wrapping his arms around my waist. The sound of an awkwardly silent Stan clearing his throat made me jump.

"Way to ruin the moment Stan. Again." I playfully death glared at him. When I looked back to Liam's eyes, I saw that he was already looking at me. His eyes softly trained on mine before they slowly closed shut, his lips being lightly pressed to mine. We stayed like that for a few seconds, ignoring the complaints from Stan about something along the lines of we are just rubbing it in that he's not in a relationship or something...

I broke the kiss and quickly pecked him again before I playfully pushed him out the door.

"Don't forget to get me some Apple Jacks, Li-li!" I exclaimed to him as I slammed the door in his shocked face. I starts laughing my butt off at him through the door before a shuffle in the room caught my attention. My breath hitched in my throat as my eyes grew wide. I turned around slowly, half expecting a masked murderer to attack me, or worse... Him.
