~Liam's POV~

The door opened to a woman who was just a bit shorter than Julia. She smiled and said:

"You must be Liam. I'm Julia's mother. Please come in! I'll go get her."

And with that she beckons me in and began walking down a long hallway to what I'm guessing was Julia's room. I walked straight ahead and the first thing I saw as I walked through the door was a beautiful Yamaha piano on a white marble floor. I looked down the hall but I didn't see anyone.

I quickly walked over to the wonderful instrument and turned on the "quiet" mode. They didn't have to hear me playing this.

I sat down and placed my fingers on the keys. I looked up at the sheets of music and instantly recognized the piece as the piano version of "fall for you" by Secondhand Serenade. I concentrated on the notes and once I got the notes pretty much memorized, I added the words.

"...because tonight will be the night that I will fall for you, over agaaaa-ain don't make me change my mind, cuz I won't live to see another day. I swear its true. Because a girl like you'd impossible to find, you're impossible to find." I sang. As I finished singing I heard the sound of a recording ending on an iPhone. I turned to find a familiar curly haired girl holding her phone and grinning like mad.

Crap.

~Julia's POV~

My mom came bursting into my room, a smile on her face.

"He's here! You didn't tell me he was so cute! I-" she was cut off from her rambling by the sound of my piano. It was being played brilliantly. Better than me, and I've played since I was 3! I assumed that my brother put it on auto so that the piano played itself. That was until I heard singing. My mom and I looked at each other as our smiles grew.

"A cute boy who play's. Even better!" My mom whispers to me. I playfully slapped her arm and scowled. Looking around my room one last time, I spotted my phone and a light bulb went off in my head.

Putting in my password, I went to the camera and pressed record.

"Hey Liam!" I whisper-yelled at the screen.

"I know you're probably gonna kill me but you are amazing! You play the piano beautifully and your voice is magical! Have a listen!" I quietly mused, smiling like an idiot the whole time. I quietly walk down the hall and shoo my mother away as I sit down on the floor behind him, recording the angelic sound.

"-you're impossible to find." He finished.

I was still smiling as I pressed the end record button and it made the beeping noise.

Crap.

He froze and slowly turned around. When he looked down and saw me, he smiled, but suddenly his face whitened and his expression went blank.

"Liam?" I asked confused

"Are you okay? You're not mad at me are you? I'm sorry...I should have asked for your permission..." I trailed off, finding that playing with my fingers was much more interesting. Just thought thought of Liam being angry with me made me cringe at the memories. I felt as if I could still feel the bruises on my cheeks, the red marks on my wrists.

I saw him raise his hand towards my face and I flinched, thinking he would hit me. He hesitated, but brought his fingers lightly to my chin, lifting my gaze towards his. His eyes were full of confusion, but hinted with a bit of hurt.
