Liam's POV

The bus pulled up, lights blinking, and lightly squeezed as it braked. I trudged up the steps, still half asleep, and walked down the aisle. I swear, it's gonna take weeks before I get used to waking up this early. I struggled to keep my eyes open as I saw a blurry image of a beautiful, curly haired brunette.

"Hey Jules..." I said softly, laying my head on her shoulder as I sat down. The seat creaked under my weight as I made myself comfortable. Well, as comfortable as you can be sitting on what was practically concrete. Okay, youmajor exaggeration, but still...

"Morning Li." She said with a bright smile. I was fighting the urge to fall into a deep sleep while I was on her shoulder, wanting to see the brightness that was her smile. I fought with myself to keep my eyes open, feeling myself fall and snapping them open again, only for a second before the cycle repeated.

"Go to sleep Li." She said softly, giving me a small smile.

"I'm tired too..." She trailed off before lightly yawning.

"Okay... I said absent-mindedly, not having a second thought before I drifted off.

Julia's POV

I half faked, half did, a small yawn, trying to get him to sleep.

"Okay..." He trailed off, lightly snoring almost instantly. I felt bad lying to him, but I really needed time to think about things. Such as the "threats" against us, what's going on between me and Liam, and what Sam has to do with any of this.

I was about a minute or two into thought when a small voice scared the bejeebers out of me.

"You know, part of me being you're boyfriend, is that I should be ale to tell when something's bothering you. And also when you're lying. And don't worry, I don't mind. I can tell that you need to think, but I'll talk if you want."

Awwwwww!

He can just read me like a book!

"Thanks Li." I whispered, a smile in my voice.

"So... I'm guessing this has to do with the calls?" Yup. Like a book.

"Yeah... I'm just confused. And worried. I just don't know how I should take it. Like, should I be freaking out right now? Or should I just not take it seriously at all?" I whispered quickly, tapping my foot lightly like I always do when I'm thinking.

"I think... That we should contact the police..." He murmured back, sounding unsure of himself. I was shocked. I didn't think it was THAT serious... I guess I was just hoping that this was some prank call by a I'd in our grade...

"I-I mean if your safety is a risk, then... Yeah." He said, slightly more confident. He took out his phone and texted both of our moms saying that we would contact the police when we got to school. Not a minute later, they both replied saying that it was a good idea.

"Do you still have the recording? Of the voice?" I asked, my stomach dropping at the thought that we might not have any evidence.

"Yes." He said and I sighed with relief.

"Okay."I said almost silently. "We will call when we get there. So right now I want to sleep." I said truthfully. I had stayed up all night [A.N. SEE WHAT I DID THERE?!;)] thinking about it so I really WAS tired.

"Fine," he said, fake pouting. Oh god. Here we go.

I huffed out a breath, crossing my arms.

"What is it?" I asked, fake annoyed, desperately trying to his my smile.

"I need a kiss goodnight." He said matter-of-factly. Ooooooof course.

"Well you don't neeeeed it... " I said, acting like I didn't want to kiss him. I saw him giving me puppy dog eyes and I quickly looked away.
