they had escaped so they wouldnt have to deal with the monsters, but yet they had attracted them to the place that they were hiding. they really are foolish, arent they?
haknyeon would agree. oh yes, haknyeon would definitely agree. they are foolish indeed, with their inability to protect themselves and their wide and fearful gaze when they saw the wretched creatures up close.
that was okay, he would teach the two, as stupid as it sounded. he had spare knives and guns for occasions like this one, and he had never felt better that he did so.
what idiots they were in the youngest's opinion, for not even attempting at making a weapon, even if it turned out to be shit in the end.
"dammit, where the fuck is sunwoo when i need him to be here?" haknyeon had mumbled as he jutted his knife into another's chest, dragging it down before pulling it out. jacob cowered into kevin's side, trying his best to not gag at the yellow-ish blood oozing out of the dead monsters not even six feet away from them.
kevin had distracted himself from the awful scene unfolding in front of him by focusing his attention on calming the one older than him, muttering quiet and sweet words into his hair as he kept him close, not bothering to question about the trembling fit he was going through.
haknyeon had turned around to face the other two people with him in the room, and if he wasn't so focused on making sure they stayed alive, he was sure his heart wouldve softened at the sight.
but nevermind that, he had something he had to do, which was protecting the fools that were being much too panicked behind him. he took note to ask if they had any experience in fighting later on.
"hak," jacob had gasped out, pointing to a place near him with a shaky hand. "hak, please!"
