no wonder he had panicked, kevin thought, as he finally realized what the older had meant. his eyes widened as he attempted to scramble away and pull the other closer at the same time. that was useless though, seeing as they were now in a corner and as close together as anyone could be.
"ju haknyeon!" kevin shouted, sparing a glance at the boy before looking back at the creature that looked slightly different from the others and a bit larger as well. how convenient, the alpha was right before them, and they were absolutely helpless at its... teeth? it sure as hell didnt look like feet that laid below their legs.
finally, haknyeon had looked over at the two, scoffing a bit despite his eyes widening a bit in worry. now he really did wish that sunwoo was here, seeing as he was the one with the guns and haknyeon didnt have his with him.
in the middle of the youngest's dilemma, a gunshot was heard. well, even if the monster was dead now, there was another problem made now.
"son youngjae! your aim!" haknyeon gasped out, whipping around to give said person a glare.
"what the hell? jacob, youre okay, right?" kevin gasped, turning the others face and cupping his cheeks, worry practically shining in his eyes.
"yes, kevin, im totally fine. i was shot, kev! of course im not okay!" the oldest whimpered, unshed tears causing his eyes to glimmer. and as bad as the reason was, kevin thought that his eyes looked beautiful, even though it was awful that he was on the verge of crying. "it hurts so bad, kev."
not knowing anything else to do, he pulled the injured one closer, cradling his head to his chest to allow him to hide his now tear-stained face. there was another thing that he would much rather do, but he immediately pushed it to the back of his mind, not knowing if the older would like it or not.
however, haknyeon was giving him a certain look that kevin was sure meant 'do it, dont be a pussy.' either way, you only live once, right?
"cob, i can distract you if you look up at me, but close your eyes, alright? wanna surprise you."
whatever jacob was expecting, it sure as well was not for kevin to kiss him.
