okay, well, they definitely didnt expect that based on how kevin choked on his spit and how jacob gasped and covered his mouth, much to haknyeon's surprise.

"what? its just a question!" haknyeon had groaned out, rolling his eyes and he was sure he wouldve backed away if he wasnt trying to stop the bleeding of the oldest's leg. it should be nearing a stop, right? or was it really that bad?

no answer was given, seeing as it was now that juyeon had come back, his eyes curious as he spotted the two that were practically curled into each other.

"who are they?" he spoke, finally attracting the attention of the three seated in the corner of the room,s somehow ignoring the wretched smell of the dead creatures around them.

"they... are idiots, but that's alright. the one right here is jacob, who got shot by your idiot boyfriend, tell sunwoo to teach him, please, and the other one is kevin." haknyeon sighed, sparing a glance at the oldest's leg before looking back at the standing male. "where is he, by the way?"

"ahh, got it. and yeah, im sure sunwoo is trying to convince him that he isnt good enough to go without training." juyeon had chuckled, looking a the two again before leaning against the wall and looking at haknyeon. "i think hes arguing with sunwoo again over his skills. he was excited to see me, you know?"

"of course hes gonna be excited to see you, you took ages to get your herbs, im sure he missed you." the shorter grumbled before speaking more clearly after. "did you get anything useful, by the way? specifically for a shot wound?"

at that, juyeon's eyes had light up as he eagerly nodded, bounding over to the other three.

"my goodness, dude, you seem excited that hes hurt." kevin muttered, shaking his head slightly before resting it against jacob's.

"oh, im so sorry! its just, hak and the rest of us haven't found any other needs for the herbs in a long time, im quite excited to use them again, thats all! it really is awful that eric continues to be dumb with his aiming and refuses help from sunwoo."

no response. kevin simply hummed, not thinking of anything to say in return to the other. no worries though, as juyeon was ready to move onto another topic already.

"i almost ran into hyunjae, by the way."
