"eric, really, its fine, they didnt do anything!" haknyeon groaned out of frustration, seeing how the two that were getting yelled at were curling impossibly further into each other. "now please, stop getting mad! youre scaring them, for gods sake!"

finally, at that, eric had shut up, only now noticing the two cowering before him and giving them a guilty look, his nonverbal way of apologizing. he really did feel bad, he was just bad at expressing himself whenever he tried to say so.

"im- im so sorry, i just assumed and-"

"no, its okay!" jacob started, smiling softly at the youngest. honestly, this surprised kevin, because never once in his life had he seen or heard jacob interrupt anyone, and he practically clung to him like a magnet for his entire life.

"no no, it really isnt, i shouldnt hav-"

"i would probably be the same way with kev, so really, its okay." radio silence. everyone was shocked at what he had said, despite it being as clear as crystal that the two were fawning over each other and would jump in front of a train if they had to for one another.

and almost magically, the bleeding of the others leg had stopped, leaving the other three people in the room to stand up and head to a different section of the slightly abandoned store, leading to kevin's blushing face to look up at the older's.

"cob?" kevin spoke softly, his eyes unblinking as he stared into the other's. "you werent lying, right? that was true?"

"you know me, kevin, i dont lie. especially if its about you." jacob's lips slowly started to form a smile, almost as if they were tempting kevin's to touch them again. "youre my whole world, what would i do if you couldnt trust me?"

kevin stayed silent for a bit, although the pause was a comfortable one as the younger's eyes slowly drifted to the other's lips. leaning forward, he finally gave into the temptation, kissing the other again.

"that's cute and all, but who the fuck are you guys?"
