8. The Secretive Club Meeting

Well, it was now Wednesday. The day that the meeting of the random club I joined was going to happen.

Was I excited? Not really. Scared? Yes. Why? Jungkook just sounds like the type of guy to be in a cult. And Jimin is the perfect cult leader.

Usually this was the time for Jungkook and Jimin to loudly play "Let it Go." as they sing it in a serprano, but today everyone was at their desk focused on work, something we don't see very often.

Well, like Namjoon announced yesterday.. he was giving out bonuses to "the best performers in the workplace." Everyone was trying to fit the most work they could to give themselves a bigger chance on getting a raise. Seriously, 9:30pm is when Jungkook goes to chat with Taehyung at his desk but today Jungkook is calling a client and Taehyung is shorting through papers.

Amelia gets up from her seat and walks to my desk tired.

"Oh? You're not going to try to get some work done?" I ask.

"Well, I was... then I realized I don't really care if I get a bonus or not." Amelia shrugs which I surprised at. I widen my eyebrows at her, "It's just not worth it to work that much you know?" She defends.

"Where were you at the party? Did you leave?" Amelia asks, it was the first time I remembered the party.

"Oh my god, I really don't remember that well.. I drank a lottt.." I dragged the t exaggerating my point.

"Wow, I never saw you as a drink type of girl, everytime I offered drinks at our sleepovers you've always wanted hot cocoa instead!" She saids in a teasing tone, I just roll my eyes as she laughs before heading back to her desk. I turn to notice Taehyung staring at me, I smile and waved at him and he smiled and waved too.

"I think we all know why were here today, am I correct?" Namjoon stated firmly, looking upon all of us sitting in the meeting room.

"THE BONUSES!" Jungkook yells excited.

"My very much expected bonus." Yoongi spoke staring at Namjoon.

"Yes, correct! We are having our bonuses! Three lucky people with the best performance will be granted a bonus." Namjoon nods as everyone feels the atmosphere getting more intense.

"I cant wait, ive wanted a new fanny pack!" Hoseok saying smiling happily.

"The people who are having a bonus aree.." He grabs the paper from his pants and unravels it.

"Ollie!" He says first. Everyone turns to look at Ollie in jealousy as she just nods smiling.

"Yoongi!" He announced second, Yoongi stood up from his seat and yelled, "YES!" Breakout out a boogie. Everyone turned to look back at Namjoon everyone praying it was them who got the last raise. I told myself if I got the bonus I could get those cute light up keyboards.

And lastly, Jungkook!" Jungkook started to jump excited but everyone else was shocked.

"WHAT?" Jin screamed getting up from his chair.

"J- Jungkook? The same guy who dips his corn chips in coffee?" Amelia complained.

"Hey, its to get me to be more awake when I eat.. and I like the flavor." Jungkook states defending himself.

"You guys are probably confused but Jungkook has this natural talent in sales. He has this charm and its made his reputation very well. So, Jungkook, you have been underestimated by your fellow co-workers." Namjoon proudly says handing them checks.

"Yeah thats right, you guys should probably overestimate me next time, hope you learned your lesson!" And with that Jungkook dashed back to his seat and dipped another chip in his cup. and everyone followed him out.
