11. Broken Coffee Machine

So I had a normal weekend. I went shopping for clothing and kept looking at the photo of Yeontan from Taehyung. He showed two pictures of the cute little dog staring up at the camera in curiosity. I had adored the adorable dog and felt touched that Taehyung had took the pictures for me. I close my phone and heave a sad sigh looking that Melanie hanging around Taehyungs desk. She had a high pitch giggle, "You're so funny TaeTae!" 

""yOurE sO funNy TaEtAE."" I mimicked, most annoying voice I could make. 

"You're not the only one getting annoyed at them." Jin sighed leaning on my desk. I turn away, not really expecting Jin to hear. He notices my silence and turns back to work at his desk.

"Hey look, the numbers add up to 69." Jungkook laughed raising the paper we were supposed to work on to add up our surplus. Everyone stayed silence and turned back to their computer but from the desk closest to him, Jimin snorted covering his mouth to stopping him from laughing.

"Oh real funny guys." Ollie stated sarcastically clapping, "Grow up." She scoffed.

"Get it-" He Jungkook says pausing his sentence to laugh again, "69." He held his stomach and Jimin lifted his hands off his mouth to laugh with him. In the middle of their laughter the break room door suddenly burst open with a loud bang and a frustrated Yoongi. 

"WHO THE FUCK BROKE THE DAMN COFFEE MACHINE." Yoongi yelled getting everyones attention, even Namjoon came out of his office confused.

"Okay, so.." Namjoon drew a question mark on the whiteboard. "Yoongi, why are you upset?"      Everyone in the meeting room turned to Yoongi who was crossing his arms. 

"You want to know why I am upset?" Yoongi scoffed. "Everyday I wake up to this horrible job so I can come home with a check that doesn't have enough money. When I get up I need coffee so I dont flip my desk." He ended his speech by turning to the wall not looked at Namjoon.

"We just want to help you Yoongi." Hoseok pouted. Everyone else nodded turning to Yoongi.

Yoongi continued, "The bitter but amazing taste of coffee, brings me on my feet and spreading a smile of my face." 

"Yoongi, its just a coffee machine. I think it can be easily replaced." Namjoon said trying to calm down Yoongi but Yoongi just turned to Namjoon and pointed a accusing finger, "YOU DID IT!" 

"Namjoon seriously? How hard is it to make a coffee without breaking it?" Jin sighed shaking his head. 

"Listen, I know I break a lot of things but this wasn't me." Namjoon pouted putting his hands to his chest upset. 

"Its probably a ghost who floated in our break room and smashed it in anger because you guys forgot to give birthday cards." Taehyung scoffed. 

Hoseok gasped, "A ghost?" I also gasped not realizing it was Taehyungs birthday, I turn to him and put my hand on his arm. "Im so sorry, I thought your birthday was in a three months!"

"Not mine, Yeontans." Taehyung replied everyone groaned knowing how much Taehyung liked his Yeontan. "Yeontan cried!" He said offended. Jimin scrunched his nose, "I think you cried."

"If were here to talk about whats upsetting us then I want to say that I think you guys should stop pulling my pants down." Jungkook said before narrowing his eyes at a certain someone, "Jimin."

Jimin snickered, "Alright Mr. iron man underwear." Jungkook gasped offended threatening Jimin with a finger, "Take it back!"

"You probably broke it Jungkook, you're so dumb you probably thought the Coffee Machine was a punching bag or something." Yoongi accused leaving Jungkook even more offended. "Why is everyone suddenly attacking me-"

"Hey, hey. No insulting someone just because youre upset Yoongi, I bet it was just a silly mistake by someone." Namjoon said trying to lower the tension in the room. 

"I bet Taehyung did it." Yoongi announced getting up from his chair again. Yoongi narrowed his eyes at Taehyung who just sat there confused, after a minute of their tension Yoongi spoke up. "You never liked coffee." 

"I wouldn't break it though.." Taehyung said trying to justify. "LOOK ME IN MY EYES WHILE IM TALKING TO YOU!" Yoongi yelled making Taehyung look at him and gulping. I looked at Taehyung who was actually scared, I know Taehyung didn't like yelling. "Hey, maybe it broke down because it was five years old." I said trying to defend Taehyung. 

"Whatever." Yoongi scoofed sitting back in his seat and crossing his arms.

The Office was quiet as I could hear the clicking of everyones computer as they got to work. Though.. Yoongis clicking was more aggressive as his clicking sounded like punches making tension in the office space.

"Here are a new list of your new clients." Jungkook said hesitantly, standing far away from the man so he had to lean in and extend his hand. Yoongi turned to Jungkook and snatched the papers, he grunts before going back to beating up his keyboard. 

"Hey Yoongi... I know youre in a bad mood, is there anything I can do?" Hoseok had asked pouting feeling empathy. Melanie, who was also in the desk clump also spoke up, "Listen, usually I don't give out things for free but.." She started looking through her purse and smiles before bringing out what she was looking for. "I have this gift card to Red Robins." 

Yoongi seemed to be happy she offered it because he said thanks before taking it and looking at it. Jungkook then spoke, "Red Robin.." 

"-Yum~" Taehyung responded. They turned to eachother and air fist bumped.

Yoongi who just felt like maybe the world wasn't over turned to glare at Melanie, "It expired two years ago." Melanie just awkward laughed before going back to typing.

"Yoongi, I know you're upset about this but you need to focus on your work." Ollie said making Yoongi groan. She continued talking, "Being rude about it isn't going to make things any better. If you really want, I bet Mr. Kim wouldn't mind if one us went out and grabbed you a coffee." 

"I can go!" Hoseok happily said raising his hand. I knew he really cared about Yoongi and wanted to do anything to help him. "Dont you have some sales call to do? Maybe Y/n should go, she can just put the phone to voicemail." Hoseok pouts but understands her words. Ollie looks at me and I nod getting up and grabbing my bag. 

"Ill also go, I really don't have anything to do." Taehyung also offered, Ollie nodded so he also got up and went to me. 

"We should go ask Namjoon first to leave." I say he gives me and thumbs up. I open Namjoons office door and peak my head inside, he was trying to solve a rubiks cube. 

"Hey Namjoon! Just going to grab Yoongi a coffee.. you know how on the edge he is right now." I say he smiles and nods in approval. I turn back to Taehyung and talk again, "He said yes, now lets go!"

While looking at the menu I came to realization, "Oh shit- I totally forgot what type of coffee he likes.." I turn to Taehyung who didn't seem bothered. He tilted his head to me and spoke up, "Oh, he likes really strong coffee so I think a small expresso will do just fine."

"Oh phew, I was prepared for Yoongi to scold me.." I giggle awkwardly rubbing my neck. He also laughs at my reaction. "Thank god I am here then." 

The Cashier nodded at us to come over, we gladly did and the person spoke up, "Hello, what would you like it order?" I was about to talk but Taehyung came forward, "One small expresso please!" Before he could reach out for his Credit Card I rushed to grab it out of my purse and quickly gave it to cashier awkwardly smiling. "Oh, Y/n.. I can pay." He said also taking his card.    "No really, I got it."

I quickly pushed it towards the cashier who took it. I smiled coyly at Taehyung who just laughed. 

"Hey, also.. thanks for coming along with me. Its always nice to have company." I wanted to thank him, he gave me a warm smile before speaking. "Ah, its fine. I was bored anyways.. That place is always chaos anyways."
