Chapter 48- Hope

[Third Person's POV]

Five months had passed and Sana still haven't woke up. As usual, Mina is beside her with her hand interlocked with Sana's; waiting for her to wake up.

Sana had been staying inside the hospital for 8 months already. The public were worried for her and continued praying for her health.

Mina was staring at Sana's hands, like waiting for something to happen. Their friends are at the mall, you know, since they're bored. They even tried dragging Mina out of the room but they didn't succeed.

Mina abruptly pouted as she look at Sana's face. The stitched up wounds are slowly fading away and her head that was wrapped by a bandage.

Some of the IZ*ONE members visited Sana not too long ago, even Yeji, Lia and Chaeryeong along with Yuna and her girlfriend, Ryujin

Suddenly, Mina saw how Sana's finger slightly moved as she rubbed her eyes; thinking that she was tripping that she started imaginating but that was cutted off when Sana moved her finger again.

She quickly dialed Nayeon's number and started telling her that Sana's finger moved. Of course, Nayeon doubted at first but nonetheless believed it and said they will go back to the hospital immediately.

Sana fluttered her eyes open making Mina call the doctor in charge of Sana. At the same time Nayeon and the others barged in with the CEO's parents.

Mina backed away and went to her friends. The doctor checked on Sana as he started asking few questions.

"Do you remember the reason why you're here inside the hospital?" The doctor asked as Sana nod her head, "I was caught in a car accident."

"Do you know who they are?" The doctor pointed at Sana's parents and friends, which again made Sana nod her head.

"Can I ask one question?" It was her turn to ask, the doctor including Sana's family and friends, anticipated on her question.

"Who is she?" Sana asked while pointing at Mina's direction. Everybody inside the room gasped at her question as Mina's eyes started filling up with tears.

"You don't remember her?!" Momo shrieked as Sana sadly shook her head, "I'm sorry but I can't seem to remember her."

Mina plaster a bitter smile before looking at Sana directly at her eyes, "I'm Myoui Mina, your childhood friend." Mina introduced as everybody gasped again. They all thought that Mina would say who she really was but decided to tell otherwise.

Mina's tears started rolling down which made Sana flustered and guilty for thinking that she made the latter cry, "E-excuse me." Mina slightly bowed before leaving the room.

Jihyo and Nayeon followed the latter. "Did I made her cry?" Sana asked with guilt visible in her tone.

Tzuyu shook her head as she waved her hands in front, "No, it's not your fault, Unnie. It's just she had been a lot and she needs to loosen up." Tzuyu stated which was actually true.
