Jeremy's POV

I lazily blew my flattened hair out of my face. I needed a job. I wasn't so good at being social with people. I'd always freeze up or spaz out. I looked through the newspaper for a good place to work at. I was turning the page when a few words caught my eye:

FREDDY FAZBEAR'S PIZZA: HELP WANTED

I sighed at those words. I had bad memories there. Good ones too, but they were overwhelmed by the ones I didn't want to remember. I sighed again and looked at the ad. The needed a new night guard to watch things from 12am to 6am for 150.00. Sounds good enough. I might as well try it. I took out my phone & dialed the number that was shown underneath.

"Hello?"

"Hi, I'd like to apply for a job."

"Which one?"

"The night guard." there was silenced for an unsettling amount of to w before any answer.

"Y-you sure?"

"Yes."

"Okay. You start tonight and come around 11:50. You'll also have a co-worker. He'll explain a few things when you get there." then they hung up.

"Wait, a co-worker?! I thought only one person got this job!" I threw my phone onto the coffee table in frustration. No going back now. I decided to get done sleep before work. I clambered into bed and slept, awaiting the night to come.

I woke up and checked the clock. 11:45. SHOOT! I was supposed to be there at 11:50! I quickly got up and got dressed. I raced to my car and drove there as fast as possible. it was 11:57 now. I rushed into the office to see my co-worker sitting in the seat.

"You're late, rookie." he stated solemnly.

"I-I'm sorry." I quickly said, starting to spaz out. He gave me a disgusted look.

"Sorry doesn't cut it, rookie. This job costs you your life." as soon as I heard those words, I froze.

"M-my... life?"

"Mhm. Now get in here." I walked in stiffly. I didn't ask for this! No wonder the guy on the phone asked if I was sure for taking the job. At least I won't be alone in this.
