Jeremy's POV
I see Mike, eyes bloodshot and puffy. He's been crying.
"Jere...Bear?" he asks, looking at me.
"Yes, Mike. It's me." I smile, tears freely streaming down my face. I sit beside him on the bed and he hugs me tightly. I hugged back.
"Sorry for the mess... I..." he trailed off. "Where were you?"
"At my mom's for awhile."
"Oh..."
So, we just sat there, silently embracing each other. He broke the hug and kissed me. I kissed him back. Once he he broke the kiss, he got up and grabbed something.
"Mike..?" I looked at him, puzzled.
"I know this is going to be inform, but... marry me, Jere." he opened the box and a beautiful ring lay inside.
