Doll's POV
I texted Mike about fifteen times. I know I was practically spamming his phone and he might've deleted them already anyway. I missed him. I was sorry for lying to him. Hopefully, he'll accept my apology and take me back. I called him. The ringing went dead silent immediately. Of course he'd hang up. I sighed and got in my car. If he won't reply, I'll just go visit him.
Jeremy's POV
I woke up around 11:30. Ugh. I sat up and checked my phone. It had one message.
"Hey, I forgot to ask you your address." ~Mike
I frowned a bit, but texted him my address. I sat back on the couch. I heard a knock at my door and groaned. Who could it be? It couldn't be Mike because it's a half hour drive away and I had just sent him my address. I got up and walked to the front door. When I opened it, I was greeted by someone I thought I'd never see ever again.
Mike's POV
I got Jeremy's text about two hours after I'd texted him. I wonder if he's okay or not. I grabbed my jacket again and threw it on. When I walked outside, I saw a familiar vehicle driving closer. Doll. I got into my car quickly and pulled out. I saw her slow down at the corner of my eye. I began to drive off to Jeremy's and hoped she'd leave me be. Nope. She decided to follow me. I growled and swore under my breath. I continued to drive. The rain pelted down harder. My day was getting worse and worse wasn't it?
Jeremy's POV
"Fritz?" I asked. He smiled warmly at me.
"Hello old friend." he gave me a hug. I hugged back.
"What are you doing here?"
"I came to see how you were. It's been- what? Five years now?" I chuckled and nodded.
"Come in." I said and let him in. He looked around in awe.
"This is your house now? Wow... it's an improvement from... THAT house." I smiled nervously and shifted uncomfortably. We both knew the subject about my dad was sensitive. I shut the door and sat back down on the couch.
"So...... how have you been doing?" I asked.
"Good, good. I'm married now."
"Oh wow. Congrats!" I smiled widely. He smiled back and sat beside me.
"What about you, Jeremy? How have you been managing?"
"I've been great actually."
"That's good." I was about to say something back when I heard a loud crash.
