Chapter 12

Olivias POV-

After what felt like hours, we finally arrived back at Michaels appartment. He was telling the truth- the apartments were practically next door to the block me and Adam stayed on. Michael opened the door and I was shocked by the size of the apartment. It was twice the size- maybe bigger- of my apartment. The decor was black and white which looked really modern and was also complimented by the splashes of colour given by Michaels band posters and pictures of him and the rest of 5sos on the wall. It looked like he had been living here for years, although he told me that he moved here recently. "Are you sure you haven't lived here for ages and just haven't told me?" I questioned.

"Yeah, it loooks like i have because I got my interior designers to decorate the apartment just like my house back in Sydney. It helps so that i don't get homesick" I was shocked. I knew that Michael had alot of people that did things for him, like minions, but i didn't realise that he even had people to design the decor of his house.

"Oh wow, so you've even got people working on your decor for you?"

"You know that people do what i want for money, I don't know why you are acting shocked" he alwyas seems so in control, the only time I haven't seen him being in control is when he was faced with an anrgy Adam.

"Alright Mr 'I basically have slaves', why dont you do things-" I was interrupted by my phone chiming in my pocket. I open it to see a message from Kady.

Kady

Sorry that I didn't cover for you yesterday. I didn't realise what was actually going on, until Adam messaged me. Hopefully I will be seeing you much more beacause you are with Michael now and Adam won't be able to refrain it like he did..

With Michael now? What?

I hope that we can see each other soon so we can talk. I miss you. K x

I messaged back instantly, I could feel Michael's eyes buring a hole in the top of my head.

You've got things twisted. Meet me tomorrow at the gardens. Come alone. 

I could guarantee that Kady had got that story from Adam. What is his issue? Assuming things about my life. 

"What was that about?" interrogated Michael. He could be all up in my buisness sometimes. It was the worst.

"Kady was just checking up on me. Not that it's any of your buisness, but I'm going to be meeting her tomorrow at Starbucks" Michael's jaw clenched, reminding me of his short temper. He came up to me and pulled my chin to get my eyes on his.

"It is my buisness, seen as you are living under my roof" He let go.

"Ugh, whatever. You're pissing me off already. I might go and stay in the B&B down the road"

"You won't do such thing, I won't let you-"

"Also, don't take me living under your roof as me wanting to get back with you. I never said that I wanted to" I stated, placing my hand on my hip.

"You weren't saying that earlier when you were kissing me." He bluntly said, a smirk on his face. He knew me too well and I wasn't used to it at all. Adam didn't know me very well, and being back in Michael's hands had taught me that.

"You're disgusting. I need my clothes and things so can we go and get them?"

"No need, I've sent Calum to get them. Adam won't stand a chance, Calum has started working out loads" He says this as if i didn't see him a few nights ago.

"Oh, alright"

"So for the time being, we can get snacks from the cupboard and watch Back to the Future?" My favourite.

"Sounds good, but I shotgun the circle sofa" in the corner of his living area he had a circle sofa that looked really cosy, covered in pillows and blankets. His interior designers knew what they were doing.

"And whose to say I won't be joining you?" He winked.

"Me. Friends only at the moment, I need time to think about what I want" this hurt a bit to say. I wanted Michael, but I still had a part of my heart that wanted Adam.

"Fine." He sighed, pouting a little as he said it. I was confused, Michael hadn't bothered to ask me how I was feeling after what happened. Maybe he didn't care? Maybe all along he just wanted me to end things so he could have me back, and he didn't actually care about what I wanted or how i was feeling in the midst of things?

I must stop overthinking.
