Olivias POV-
I arrive back at my apartment, letting myself in. Adam is sat on the sofa, his legs tucked to his chest. "Hi," I say, smiling awkwardly. His eyes look red.
"Oh hi, sorry, I wasn't expecting you to be here so soon," he replies, placing his legs onto the floor. He taps the sofa. "Come and sit down. Do you want a drink?"
"No, I am okay." I sit next to him, pulling the gold key off of my keyring and placing it on the table in front of me.
"Oh, what's that for?" He questions. I think he knows, he just doesn't want to face it.
"Its the key to the apartment, I don't need it anymore because I think you should stay here. Look, I'm really sorry for how we ended. I don't want you to think that we can get back together because I'm seeing you now, I'm here because I think we need to put this behind us." He tears up, making my heart break a little. I had never seen him like this, he was always so aggressive.
"What is so much better about him, Liv?"
"Don't make this any harder than it already is, Adam. I didn't mean to hurt you, but you were hurting me, and I needed to stop that before it became too much."
"I realise that now. I didn't think my issues were enough to end us," he comments, wiping a tear off his cheek.
"Honestly, they weren't for a while. It was when you started making hints at how I dressed, and how you 'monitored' who I saw, and I was only friends with your friend's girlfriends. That's not normal."
"I didn't even see that I was doing that-"
"And don't get me wrong, its okay to not see that you are doing something, but that's the issue for me because you just couldn't see why I didn't want to be with you, and why I wouldn't kiss you anymore. I felt trapped," I say, feeling like I was slowly letting go.
"I didn't realise I was making you feel that way. I'm really sorry, Liv."
"I think you need some time alone, to work on yourself. You are such a lovely person, but I think you have trust issues, and you need to work on that before letting yourself get too close to anyone else. I am sorry for breaking your heart, and just know that I have been hurting too."
Michaels POV-
I am woken by banging at my front door. I stretch and walk over, looking around for Liv. I open the door, and the bright faces of Luke, Calum and Ash are on the other side. "Hi guys," I said, still in a slight sleep.
"Oi oi boys, someones all tired out!" Luke yells.
"Shut up, Luke." I move out of the way so that they can come in. They all instantly sit on the sofa I was previously sleeping on, making me laugh because of what happened on it earlier on. I began looking around for Liv, as she didn't tell me that she was going out.
I looked everywhere, and I still couldn't find her. She must have popped out.
"What are you guys doing here anyway?" I ask the boys.
"We came here to hang," Calum says, spreading his arms across the back of the sofa. I walk over to the circle sofa, and slam myself down, sinking into the pillows.
"Ah okay then, what do you ladies want to do?" We would usually be making music, but we were currently having a break as we had just dropped our album 'CALM'.
"Can we order food? I'm fucking starving," Ash yells. They were all too energetic, I still hadn't properly woken up.
"Yeah sure. Pizza?" Calum says.
