Michaels POV-

"Bro, Liv is so hot though. She always has been." Ashton stated. This made me a little angry- Liv is mine, and I am keeping it that way for as long as I can. I don't know how we had got onto the conversation. All of our systems were intoxicated, and I had to be careful to not say that Liv and I had moved in together because I don't think that she would want the lads to know yet.

"Yeah, she is, but you're not really her type, to be honest Ash." I slyly remarked. He rolled his eyes.

"I never said that I wanted her. I just think that she is hot" He made my blood boil.

"Back off, she is-"

"Alright, boys lets break it up." Luke chimed. Ash broke into laughter.

"Michael knows its all jokes anyway!" He said, patting my shoulder. I let him have the last word, as he is one of my best mates and I think I would kill him if he said anything else. He always commented on how good-looking she is. It made me paranoid. What happens if she thinks he is better than me?

"Look, Mike. Don't sweat it. She would always pick you over him," Calum whispered in my ear as if he read my mind. He was always the person who reassured me. I realised that I wasn't going to get much better friends than the ones I had right here. I can't seem to keep friends- people overstep marks and I get angry about it, scaring them off.

"Nah I'm not," complete lie, "she is staying at mine for a bit anyway, so I have more of a chance." He smiled at me and patted my back. I necked the last bit of my drink and felt it hit instantly. I stood up and walked over to the bar, plonked myself down and grabbed another drink. I was drinking Jack Daniels- the drink that helped me drown any thoughts that I was having that I didn't like. A man, tall with brown hair, sat next to me, and I turned to look who it was- Adam. He smelt really stong of Alcohol- Liv told me that he was more violent under the influence- he proved that when he almost killed me.

"Mike, what a coincidence seeing you here." He smirked.

"What the fuck are you doing here?"

"Just grabbing a drink, is that an issue?"

"It's not like you need another drink. Also, its an issue when you sit right next to me. Look around, find somewhere else and get on your horse." I yelled. He rolled his head back in laughter.

"You see, I don't let homewreckers boss me around." He took a sip of his pint.

"Haha, 'homewrecker'. I did no such thing." I got closer to his ear so that he could hear perfectly what I was about to say. "And to be honest pal, judging by how desperate she is for me, I would say that she wasn't happy with what you were giving her." I pulled away, smiling at him.

I watched his face turn red and predicted what he was going to do next. I dodged his thrown fist and punched him straight in the nose, causing an instant nose bleed. "Is that all you've got?" He challenged. He shot one back, hard and straight to my lip, cutting it. I pulled him to the floor, and punched his face until my knuckles were bruised and bleeding. I felt someone grab my shirt as I rose to my feet, laughing. He sat up and smudged blood across his face. I was pulled outside.

"What were you thinking?" It became apparent that it was Ashton who separated me from the fight. I rubbed my sleeve over my bust lip.

"He started it, and I ended it." I was slurring my words. I had been known for violence in the past, but not since I split up with Liv. For some reason, I was so protective over her, and I didn't know why but I was still raging.

"You are such a cock," Ash said, shaking his head and laughing. "The lads are in the car waiting. We need to go home"

"Yeah cool." I followed him back to my car, hopped in and plugged my seatbelt. The road was warping and moving, but I thought that I could still drive. "Are you all ready?" I said.

"Yes, just drive," they said in unison. I placed my hands on the wheel, and drove the car, feeling like I was in control.

I felt something switch in me, and I was feeling the anger that I felt when I was on top of Adam. I could hear everything around me, but it was blurred and distorted. I didn't realise what was happening and continued to drive. I could feel my foot getting heavier on the pedal, the car going at a high speed. The speed got higher and higher until we came to a sudden stop.

And then, there was just black.
