SHIELD thinks they see everything.

Every subtle wink of an eye, any possible threat. They think they see it all.

This is why when a certain silent assassin keeps disappearing and reappearing out of thin air, they panic and call in reinforcements.

Who are these reinforcements you may ask?

Well, they're called the Avengers. Have you heard of them?

Maybe you know all about the wit of Ironman, the powers of Thor, the skills of Black Widow, maybe even the agility of Spiderman.

You could probably name plenty of things that they are now. But what about what they were then?

(Y/N) knew all about the past. Or at least she used to.

Now she was simply HYDRA's slave, their replacement for the Winter Soldier

She hid in plain sight in her little Brooklyn apartment. She lived with her best friend Ian Shrub and her little, black dog named Juno.

She was 26 years old and freshly graduated from college. She worked at a bookstore called Herc's and she had a perfect record.

However, that's only what SHIELD saw. But she's so much more than that.

She's (Y/N) (M/N) (L/N). She has (H/L) (H/C) hair and (E/C) eyes.

She is a major asset to HYDRA and is a master spy and assassin. She's been through the Red Room and many of HYDRA's compounds.

She was born on January 20th, 1918, she is 102 years old, and her parents and dog died in a house fire very shortly after (Y/N)'s untimely "death" in 1943.

She lives part-time in a small apartment in Brooklyn with her dog, Juno, and she also lives part-time in New York's hidden HYDRA compound with her small, genetically modified guard dog, still Juno.

Ian Shrub is the only person she could ever consider to be a friend, he is just as trapped as she is.

She's killed hundreds and is responsible for many major attacks all around the globe. This is how SHIELD and the Avengers caught wind of her.

As you'll come to find, she is rather unordinary.

Of course SHIELD looks right beyond all of that as they hopelessly search for Whisper, the silent shadow with incredible power (and is also incredibly sexy, I mean just look at you *mwah*).

Oh! There is one rather small detail that I seem to have forgotten. Well... she was stolen from time.

However, she doesn't quite remember that part since her brain was completely wiped by HYDRA lol, how quirky and different.

If only she could remember how back in the 1930s she was "friends" with Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes.

Steve loved art, Bucky loved words and writing, and (Y/N) loved logic and science. They meshed stupidly well together.

They shared a small apartment in Brooklyn after they graduated from high school so they could all save money... along with other reasons.

They even had a small, fluffy dog named Juno.

They were all happy and cute and totally not in love and together until Bucky was drafted. That was the event that ended up being the groups demise.

Shortly after Bucky left in early 1943, Steve was recruited for a program that (Y/N) wasn't allowed to know the details about.

About 10 days after the boys left, (Y/N)'s cousin, Peggy Carter contacted her, asking about possible recruitment. The two had grown up together and learned similar skills. (Y/N) was going to be useful instead of sulking alone at home.

She was a powerful woman god dammit and she wouldn't let her life crumble for two men.

Peggy was ecstatic when (Y/N) agreed and couldn't wait to see her.

(Y/N) left Juno at her parents house and went off to Camp Lehigh where she met Colonel Phillips. He thought it laughable that the two cousins thought he'd accept another female into his ranks.

However, with a bit of Peggy's help, (Y/N) showed the man that she wasn't just a damsel in distress and could hold her own.

Henceforth, she was known as Agent (L/N) or the "other female agent."

Unfortunately, war is war and she was captured by HYDRA a few months after she was given her official title.

Steve and Bucky found her body when Steve infiltrated a HYDRA base to free the 107th.

They declared her dead later that day, October 27th 1943, and, two days later, learned her parent's house had been burned to the ground, killing everyone inside, including their little dog, Juno.

When Steve and Bucky heard the news they were devastated. They felt like they had lost a part of themselves because, truthly, they had. They grieved and continued on in memory of their dear (Y/N).

Of course, the rest is history. Bucky fell off the train, losing his arm and falling to his "death" and Steve became Captain America, crashing a plane into the ocean...

And that's the story...

Steve woke up about 70 years later, regaining his role as the star spangled man with a plan, and even found Bucky, the Winter Soldier.

It was difficult helping Bucky recover but, in the end, it was worth it and the pair were ecstatic.

And while they were so happy to have found each other again, they both knew it would never be the same without her.

But HOLD ON. This book has more chapters and thistiny ass summary doesn't do this story justice. It's missing all the details and emotions.

How about we start AAALLLLLL the way back on January 20th, 1918? A certain little girl's birthday.

Does that seem fair, to start all the way back in the beginning?

Even if you said no, I'm doing it anyway. :)
