Piper's POV:
Amy and I had just entered our room when someone you knocked on the door. We opened to see Heath. I looked over at Amy in surprise but let him in anyway. "Piper I need to ask you something about Finn." I nodded, wondering where this was going. "This may seem random but...is there anything special about that hoodie Finn was wearing? He told me he was cold and didn't want to take it off but it was boiling in there from the lights." "I noticed that too. Finn never dances in a hoodie." "It just seems a little suspicious." I nodded thoughtfully and suddenly it clicked. I needed to tell Amy right now. But not Heath. I don't think Finn would appreciate too many people knowing his secret. "Oh, er, well Heath I'll think it over and get back to you." I was ushering him to the door and pushed him out before slamming the door. "Piper what was that for?" I placed my finger to my lips, worried that Heath could be listening outside the door. She shut up and waited until is spoke again, "Amy I know why he was wearing that hoodie." "You do?" She was looking at me, brow wrinkled in confusion. I whisper shouted, "Amy he's been self harming! He's wearing the hoodie to hide his wrists!" Her face morphed into concerned surprise, "What should we do? It's not like he's just going to admit it." I thought for a second, "let's just barricade ourselves in there with him until he talks to us." She nodded and we left the room quietly. We walked down the familiar corridor until we were outside the room that used to be mine. "I'm going to wait outside. Give you guys some privacy." I nodded gratefully and knocked. I heard movement before Finn opened the door. I slipped in quickly and shut the door behind me. "Piper? Why are you here?" "To talk."

Finn's POV:
I opened the door to see Piper slipping in. "Piper? Why are you here?" "To talk." She pushed my chest so I was sat on the bed. She looked at me and gave me a sad look, "I'm sorry." She pulled up the sleeves on my hoodie. I gasped and moved backwards, trying not to expose my wrists. She climbed on to the bed next to me and took my hand, "Finn let me." She said it so softly, so comfortingly, that I relaxed and let her look. She gently unwrapped the bandages and gasped in horror. I cringed, I didn't want it to be me she was horrified by. My wrists were covered in bright red lines and there was dry blood surrounding them. It looked like something out of a horror movie. She took my left arm and examined it. "It needs to be cleaned properly." She tilted her head up to look at me. "Finn. Why?" "The pain was easier then the one in my heart." Tears were springing to both our eyes and tried to turn my head away to hide them. Piper reached for my face to turn it to her and she leant up and kissed me. I kissed back immediately, craving, needing the connection. She pulled away after a while and stood up. "I'm going to find something to clean these with. What are you using to hurt yourself?" I muttered quietly, "my razor." She nodded calmly and went to go find it. She brought it out into the main room and looked at it. "This is going in the trash." I nodded, accepting whatever Piper had to say. "I will buy a new one that I will keep. Every morning you will let me shave you. You will in no way touch this or anything sharp." I began to protest, not wanting her to treat me like a child but she cut me off, "no. I will not let this continue." I sighed, caving and held out my hand. She took it and let me pull her in to kiss her. When we pulled away she smiled softly and tapped my nose. She left and I waited. And waited. And waited. Time ticked by impossibly slow. Until she came back. Then I could breathe again.

Piper's POV:
I left to find some disinfectant for Finn's cuts. Amy was hovering outside the door and took one look at my face before saying, "you were right?" "I was right," I replied grimly. She followed me to the supermarket and helped me find something to clean and re-dress his cuts with. We went back to the room and I told her, "you can go back now you know. I'm fine." "Uh no. You've forgotten you've got a psycho stalker person. I'm staying outside." I rolled my eyes but nodded and let myself in. Finn's eyes lit up when he saw me. I sat down on the bed next to him and got to work. I was glad I had let James teach me first aid.

Somewhere far away-but also closer:
He was coming. They had found there way back to each other. He needed to act fast. Before it was too late.
