Piper's POV:
We all finished dinner with stilted conversation. The atmosphere was tense, something was going to happen. We could all tell. Finn and I left to go to our separate rooms while James went to a different hotel. Finn walked me to my room. "I love you Finn . I would do anything for you." "I love you too Piper." He kissed me goodbye and I entered my room. Amy was sitting on the bed, looking worried, "Piper have you checked your phone recently?" "No, why?" "I think you should." I pulled out my phone and gasped. It was another message. I opened it, "hand yourself in Piper. Before I harm those you love." I dropped the phone and turned to Amy, "oh my god. What am I going to do?" Suddenly my phone beeped with another message, "hand yourself in by midnight tonight. Come to the dressing rooms behind the stage you performed on. If you do not comply then all those you love will pay." I let out a sob. To save myself, or everyone I love? I checked the time. 10 o'clock. I had two hours to say goodbye to everyone. I ran out on Amy and down to the lobby. I couldn't do this with her watching. One by one I sent messages to James, my parents, school friends, old friends, Emily, Nick and A-troupe. I had just one person left to message. Finn. This was going to be difficult. I started typing as tears clouded my eyes.
Dear Finn,
I love you so much. I will forever be thankful for what you have given to me. These past few weeks have been the best of my life. I hope one day you find someone new. Someone you can love just as much as you loved me. This isn't a goodbye, just a see you later.

I pressed send and switched off my phone, not wanting to read the reactions. However, before I turned off the phone I checked the time. 11:50. It was time to go.

Finn's POV:
I was sitting on the bed when a message came through from Piper. I opened it and my heart dropped. I read the message quickly and felt pain rip through me. Where was she going? I ran into the corridor and began knocking on doors. They were opened immediately but all eyes were still glued to phones. It seems everyone had received a message. I waited a minute for everyone to finish before I said, "does anyone have any idea where she's going?" Amy spoke up, "she ran out of our room after receiving a two messages. Thinking about it now it was probably that weird guy." My heart rate accelerated even further as I let that sink in. Piper was gone. She had sacrificed herself for us. Only she could have that courage. I spoke to the group, "we need to split up and find her. She's alone in a foreign country, she could be in danger." I didn't mention she was definitely in danger. We split up with people going left an right. Amy was going to the stage next door. Just before she left she gave me a sympathetic look...but it was masking something. Something like regret, or guilt. I brushed it off however and just ran off. I was going to save Piper if it was the last thing I did.

Piper's POV:
I walked to the place I was told to go. As soon as as I entered the room, it went pitch black. A computerised voice came over a speaker, "find the chair and sit in it." I fumbled around until I finally found the chair. The second I sat in it, ropes were tied around my wrists and ankles. It seemed computerised, whoever it was must be pretty smart. A voice came over the speaker again, "look at little Piper. All trussed up. She can't save herself, and neither can anyone else." I bit my tongue, trying to prevent the slew of angry words I wanted to say. I pulled at the ropes. There must have been a camera as the voice laughed, "oh Piper, so naive. Don't try to run away. It will only make it worse. Do as I say and it will be only you being harmed tonight. However...I'm feeling...generous. If anyone saves you in the next 48 hours then I'll let you go, mostly unharmed." I stayed silent. The voice laughed again, "well I'll leave you to it." I sat there in complete darkness until I heard someone open the door. I sliver of light appeared before vanishing again. There was someone int the room with me. Their footsteps seemed to echo in the silent room. Wait. I recognised those footsteps but from where? The voice came over the speaker, "someone's in there to give you water." Just then a glass we pressed to my lips. The voice came again, "drink it." I did it meekly, afraid of what could happen if I didn't. The water slid down my throat smoothly, soothing the sore throat I hadn't realised I had. I drank greedily until the glass was empty. It was pulled away from my lips and the person moved back a step. Suddenly I got a whiff of a floral scent, one I could recognise in my sleep. I gaped in shock as I realised who it was. I was about to say something when my vision started to blur. My eyes were drifting in and out of focus as I realised I had been drugged. Just before I blacked out I spoke one word. "Amy?"
