(I have writers block for my other story so here's a story i found in my drafts. Ill probably keep adding on to this one)
No one's POV:
Alexander Hamilton stepped off the bus then began walking down the walkway. In New York you can be a new man. Alex continued to walk down mainstreet with his nose in a book, humming random tunes when his phone rings. Hercules Mulligan. He answers "Bonjour."
"Hey Alex. What are you doing?"
"Walking why?"
"Just wondering if you're almost here."
"Yeah just down the street but i'm going to look around first."
"Ok see you soon."
Hercules hangs up. Alex smiles a little "ok then." he mumbles under his breath. Alex goes back to reading only looking up here and there to make sure he doesn't get lost. He stops to look up once more before turning on the street Hercules lives. "Merde." he trips, causing his book to fall, losing his page. Alex feels a sharp pain in his kneel so he looks at it seeing a skid mark down his left knee. He sighs, stands up, collects his things and walks up to a small white house. He steps up to the door, pausing before knocking. The door opens "Hamilton!" Hercules stands there staring at Alex. Alex awkwardly smiles "Hercules." Hercules steps aside "Come in." Alex continues to wear a nervous smile while walking in. Hercules closes the door. Alex looks around noticing someone sitting on the couch "Pour l'amour de dieu qui-ce?" he looks at Alex raising an eyebrow. Hercules looks confused. "That's a nice way to say hi." Alex says sarcastically, he looks back at the guy on the couch "Alexander Hamilton. And you?" The man looks up from his phone "Marie-Joseph Paul Yves Roch Gilbert Du Motier de La Fayette, Marquis de La Fayette." what seems like hours later Lafayette finishes "but just call me Lafayette. (that took way too long to type.) Alex nods then looks at Hercules who is still confused "your room is upstairs, first door to the right." Alex smiles and goes to his room.
~The next day~
There was a knock at the door. Hercules quietly walked over to the door, careful not to wake Lafayette who was sleeping on the couch. "John, come in." John Laurens walked in and walked into the kitchen. "What exactly brought you here?" Hercules asked while making coffee. John froze. "Am i not welcomed?" Hercules looked at John "Of course you are but it's only 8 in the morning." John shrugged "Bored I guess." He gave anxious smile before looking away
~earlier that morning~
John's POV:
My alarm clock went off, 6:00 am shone brightly. I stretched before getting out of bed. I said hi to the turtle, grabbed a green sweater, black jeans, and white shoes, threw them on. Then walked out of my bedroom, then down the hall. Once I reached the stairs a sight that would make most happy, see their father return from work but me it fills me with terror. My father, Henry, walked in the front door with a drunken smile. I look over to see my mother, Eleanor, walking out of her room with a trying smile then stopping to look at me "John go to your room." she said kindly before taking a breath and walking down the stairs. I watch as she walks down the stairs before turning on my heel and going back into my room. I sit on my bed imagining what he might be doing to her. It slowly eats away at me as I hear screaming, begging, crying. It has only been five seconds. I start to stand and walk out my door when Mary comes in crying "Hey hey what's wrong?" worry in my voice holding back tears waiting. Mary chokes out "He hit mommy.. And and... i.." I pulled her into a hug "shh it's okay." I set her on my bed "Stay here." Before she says a word I walk out of my room, down stairs trying to block out the screaming coming from Henry and crying from Eleanor. I step off the last step thinking "What the hell am I doing." but it doesn't stop me from walking up to my father. His eyes filled with hate and the stink of alcohol burning my nose. Eleanor was on the ground, her hands on her face. She screamed at me "John, go upstairs." Henry laughed "aww is little johnny's mother trying to save him." I stood my ground frozen with fear but ready to take a hit. Henry looked me straight in the eyes before smiling "we will continue this later." he spat at Eleanor before walking upstairs into his bedroom. I look over at Eleanor "Mum?" she wipes the tears away along with some blood "I should go calm him down." Before I protest she stands up and goes to the bedroom with him. Mary comes walking down stairs "Better?" she asks while pouring milk "Better." I smile "I'm going to a friends. See you later." I kiss her on the forehead and walk out the door.
~Present time~
No one's POV:
John runs the events of the recent hours through his head while sipping his coffee. Hercules notices the nervous almost sad look on John's face "Is everything ok." John nods "Yeah just got in a... fight with Martha... thats all." He tried to smile but failed. Hercules lets his friends walk off not wanting to make matters worse.
John's POV:
I walk upstairs into the bathroom, shut and lock the door then my knees give up. I sit on the cold ground back against the wall, tears threatening to fall. When there's a knock at the door "Not right now Herc." I try to say in a normal voice but it comes out squeaky. "It's not Hercules." the person on the other side of the door sounds concerned "It's Alexander." I rack through my brain who is Alexander? Then I remember oh right Hercs new room mate. Alexander asks "Need to talk?" I think fuck it and let him in. Then immediately regretting it but it was like God was saying Let this man help you so I let him come in. Then close and lock the door. Alex sits in front of me "Alex." He holds his hand out, I shake it. "John."
