Hercules and Lafayette walk down stairs to see Alex and Kenzie cooking with John sitting on the counter talking to Alex. Kenzie looks up from the eggs she was cooking "Morning. We made coffee." she points to the pot of coffee then goes back to cooking and singing the Heathers. Lafayette nudges Hercules with his elbow "How much you wanna bet she's going say something sarcastic or punch someone?" he whispers. Hercules laughs "10, how much you want to bet she's going to break into song while doing it." Lafayette snorts "five." John looks over at Lafayette and Hercules "Twenty." Hercules nods "Bet."
Kenzie serves the eggs on a plate them sets it down on the table "Here ya go." Johns hopped off the counter and walks over to grab a plate "Thanks Kenzie." She nodded then walked out of them room talking to Alex. John sits down across Hercules "You owe me 20." Hercules rolls his eyes, pulling out a twenty and handing it to John. "I think it's broken." Lafayette says yawning. John shrugs "Well I guess it can chill." Hercules laughs "Bruh you realize she's a person right?" Lafayette glares "Well yeah but it is better." John adds "Like the clown." Hercules shakes his head "Murderous clown that sings. Perfect." Hercules punches Lafayette in the arm "You should stop talking behind her back I feel as though she could kill you." Lafayette shrugs "Probably."
"So where were you guys the past like months?" John asks
"Cali." Hercules answers.
Lafayette just nods.
"Nice nice you've never told me where do y'all work?" John stands up to put the dish in the sink.
Hercules and Lafayette look at each other then Lafayette lies "for a tailoring company." Hercules smiles and nods "yeah I forget the name." Herc adds.
John nods then turns around to leave and go upstairs. Lafayette and Hercules just watch as John walks away then high five "We didn't convince him did we." Lafayette says "Nope. But good lie." Hercules adds.
John walks into Alex room where him and Kenzie are sitting there talking. Kenzie looks at John "So?" she asks. "Got a twenty. Heres your six Alex yours." he gives them the money then sits down next to Alex. Kenzie stuffs the cash in her back pocket "How you know they were going to place a bet?" she asks looking at John sounding confused. John laughs "They place a lot of bets and I overheard them say it seems your always sarcastic so it works out." John looks around the room. Then the past hit him in the face like a ton of bricks. There is where he stood when he hit Alex, there Alex was scared, there Alex was okay with it. He shakes his head "I need to go." He stood up and left. Kenzie looked at John then Alex "What was that about." Alex shrugged "I have an idea. I should go talk to him." He stood up and followed John into the hallway.
"John?" Alex grabbed his arm "what's wrong? and don't say nothing I can tell something is wrong." John sighed "Well i'm fine." he said pulling his arm away so he could turn around to face Alex. "Fine. It's just-" Alex grabbed his hand " I know but that was the past." John shook his head "I'm still a horrible person and it's not fine." Alex sighed, leaning his head against Johns chest "Your not." John fiddles with Alex's hair. "Lets just move on. I don't want this between us." Alex says. John nods "Ok whatever makes you happy." Alex snorts. "What?" John asks. "You sound like you've been married to me for 15 years and we got in an argument. What ever makes you happy my dear." He adds the last part mocking John. John shakes his head "We should go for a walk." Alex nods "sure." Alex sits back up, then walks to the door frame "You want to go on a walk with John and I?" he asks. Kenzie shakes her head no "I got to make sure Hercules and Lafayette do their job." Alex nods then walks back to John "Shall we." he holds his hand out. John rolls his eyes "We shall." he says taking Alex hand. "Your a dork." John says as they are making their way down the stairs. Alex sighs "I know. But you're no better."
Sorry this ones short but once again writers block has come back so hopefully it goes away.
