Two broken souls (Lams)

John had been living with Hercules and Alex, and well Lafayette pretty much lives there too, for about a week now with no new news from his family.

The four amigos were sitting on the couch (Like usual) talking among themselves. The door swings open to reveal a soaked Henry breathing heavily. Even from afar the stench of whiskey burned the inside of John's nose. No one else quite knew yet but John could sense the presence of his father and feel the whisky smell burn his skin. Like a Dementor entered the room all of John's happiness he was feeling two minutes ago was gone. He was left with an empty feeling. Alex looked over to his boyfriend whose face had gone white "Are you-" he noticed Henry walking around the corner. John stared straight into Henry's eyes as he moved his hand over closer to Alex's, clutching it. Alex held on to John's, John pulled their hands out of sight so Henry could not see that one he was holding Alex hand and two so Henry could not see how scared John was. Henry glared at the four "John." John glupped and slowly let go of Alex's hand "Father." He stood up breaking eye contact to look at Alex. Alex smiled reassuring him it's going to be ok. John nodded then looked at his father smiling or trying anyway "What do you need?" it came out a little harsher than he wanted it. Henry raised his brow "Don't start with me." Hercules looked over at Lafayette who was just as confused. Hercules stood up, Henry shot his glare at Hercules "Umm hi I'm-" Alex punched him in the leg "Don't." he mouthed. Hercules looked sideways, still confused, "Ok?" he sat back down. Alex looked back over at the tension between John and Henry. Henry pointed to the front door and like an obedient servant John took one last sad glance at his friends before walking over to his father. Henry and John left without a word. Leaving Alex screaming on the inside, Hercules and Lafayette confused but kind of understanding that John going home with Henry was not the best option. Once they left Hercules looked at Alex "What the hell was that about!" Alex looked down at his feet "I can't." He went to stand up but Herc grabbed his shirt "You can't what?" There was quiet for just a moment before Alex sat back "I can't tell you John made me promise ok." Hercules stood up as Alex started walking away "Alexander what the hell just happened." Alex stopped and turned around, he started to tear up "He's been hurting John. but he didnt want you guys to get hurt so he made me promise not to tell you.." Alex trailed off. Lafayette looked up from the floor "What?" Hercules looked back at Laf then at Alex "So he's been hurt and hasn't told us." Hercules stared unsure. He sat back down next to Lafayette and buried his face in his hands. Lafayette put an arm around his "friend". Lafayette looked over at Alex "So what should we do?". Alex looked at his feet "I don't know anymore." He sluggishly walked up the stairs into his bedroom. He looked at the time 12:00 pm. Alex huffed then sat down feeling helpless. The feeling ate at him, knowing that he will never be satisfied without helping John but he can't. Well he could in a way but how? Alex thinks this over how can I help John?

It had been over four hours, John still sits in his bedroom nervously waiting for his father to walk through the door deciding whether he should kill John or let him suffer another day. John looked over at his turtle "Hey buddy." John forgot about Joseph with all of this going on. He then thinks Mary must have been taking care of him since she loved him so much. Speaking of Mary she comes knocking at his door "John?" He stands up and opens the door "Yes?" Mary looks at him with a sad glance before stepping aside. John was so busy looking at Mary to see Henry walking right behind her. Henry looked awful or worse than he usually looks. He pushed Mary which caused her to fall over John stepped up "Don't touch her." he mumbled not having the courage to do much else. Henry walked in the room sitting on John's bed. "what do you need?" John was starting to get annoyed. Henry looked up from his hands ''She's gone."
