Team 7 walked proudly through the halls, many other genins from the different nations glared at the trio, Sasuke and Sakura glared back in irritation naruto ignored them and kept walking, already used to the looks people gave him."I swear everybody we've met so far has underestimated us" Sakura complained, she knew her team were strong but she also knew it was better not to underestimate others, why couldn't these other genins realise that as well?!

"Hn" Sasuke grunted in agreement cringing away from the fan-girls squealing and pointing at him "kami help me"

"Let them, just imagine the shocked faces when we beat their asses in the tournament" naruto cheered, Sasuke and Sakuras mouths twitched up in a smile "Getting cocky now are we?" They were met with the covered face of their beloved sadist sensei, eye smiling "Nope just a little self-confidence speech to get us hyped & boosted" Sakura retorted. Kakashi smiled properly (they assumed, it's it impossible to tell) "I've trained all of you, and you guys are stronger than any genin iv come across so you better win" he held up a thumbs up

"If I didn't know any better I'd say Guy is rubbing off on you"

"How dare you," he said offended as he placed his hand on his heart in a dramatic way

They chuckled

"Hello, Naruto!"

He turned around and saw Kiba along with his team walking up to him, Kiba had Akamaru on his head and the small dog barked a greeting "you going in the chunin exams as well?" He struck up a conversation "yeah, and you guys?" naruto asked "duh"

"Hello Naruto-kun" Hinata came over and stood next to Kiba along with Shino "hello Hinata-Chan, hello Shino it's nice to see you"

(No naruhina sorry my bro's but hinakiba is still on the table ;3 )

"It's nice to see you too naruto" Shino greeted creepily, honestly this boi needed to lighten the heck up

Kiba, Hinata and shino were part of team 8 lead by Kurenai, their team was alright, Hinata was the princess of the Hyuga clan, she was quiet and stuttered quite a lot, her family being a very traditional clan many meaning things were expected of her being in the main branch.kiba was part of the inuzuka clan best known for the relations with dogs, Akamaru was Kiba's dog and boy did he love him them both being the very irrational type they were mostly close-range fighters. Shino was part of the Aburame clan which were all very 'buggy' shino was quiet and intelligent and would make comments here and there but never really spoke much, his face was covered a lot and you could only make out small parts of his face. they got along

"Ah I see our little mask group is also competing  how troublesome" came the voice of the village classic lazy genius along with his chubby friend Choji eating chips and a beautiful purple-clad ninja

"Oi, the masks were better than any strategies you come up with" naruto retorted

"Strategies you fail to comply with, honestly dude I figured it out months after you started" Shikamaru smirked victoriously when he saw the trio mumble something under their breaths that sounded suspiciously like 'frick you Smartass Nara'

"Sasuke-kun!" Sasuke was tackled by the purple ninja "shit" Sasuke cursed as he tried to push the girl off him but her grip was firm, Sakura turned around and pried Ino off of him "kami nothing has changed" she muttered "Nani? are you just trying to keep Sasuke all to yourself huh? You get to spend all day with him, how about you give us a turn?"She accused, Sakura only let out a long irritated sigh, "Will you grow up? Your not gonna get stronger if you're always obsessing over boys, also ew he's my brother" Sakura turned and leaned her elbow on her brother's shoulder with a smirk he also smirked"ino got up and hid behind Shikamaru "she's gone mad"

"You or her?" Ino scoffed at the brunette's reply "pineapple head..."

"Excuse you," Shikamaru said offended

They were the classic InoShikaChō group or better known as team 10 since their clans were all closely bonded and have a tendency of using variations of the previous name for each generation, they got along well enough to work together but like any other group they had quarls here and there

"OH YOUTHFUL NARUTO KU-"

Lee had planned on surprise hugging naruto from behind but before Lee could go through with his plans naruto had whirled around and that small amount of time he had built up chakra and released it once his hand made contact with Lee's face and at the speed of sound slapped Lee into the wall like a rag doll

Lee's body slid to the ground and he was holding his cheek with pure shock on his face, naruto after realising what he had done yelled "Ah! I'm so sorry! Gomen Gomen gomen" Naruto ran over to the green-clad ninja and helped him up bowing and apologising profusely, Lee was still dazed and a bit quiet but strangely fascinated by Narutos reflexes,he remembered seeing naruto's panicked eyes as if he was scared of people coming behind him."I'm so sorry~" naruto said for the 100th time while Sakura healed Lees cheek "that is...quite alright...naruto-kun" Lee drawled out

"Jeez what did you do to him he's all chill, gotta teach me" Neji and tenten had walked in and saw Lee on the ground and ran over "what did you do to hi-" Tenten cut herself off when she realised the huge crack in the wall behind "ah I see"

"Gomen!" Naruto anime cried

Sasuke held his face in his hands "so. Should we make a training day for reflex control?" Sakura after finishing with Lee's cheek got up "yup"

"Ima beat yo ass when we get home Naruto"

"You wanna go, you obsidian bro"

"I'll take you on lemon boy"

" I will use the power of angry bubblegum lords if you both don't shut the frick up," sakura said menacingly as she pinched both their ears "ow ow ow ow sorry!" they both chorused rubbing their ears "girls are scary" they whispered,

 "what was that?!"
