A/N: I'm dropping this teeny tiny weeny little thing here, and this is pretty much it; it's all over bar the singing.

I promised to finish with fluff, so I'm currently crafting an epilogue for each of the three couples and, woo-hoo, taking requests. I already have a general structure for what's going in there, but anything you want to see discussed? And, perhaps more importantly, anything you want to see on the kink side? (I'll consider anything, though can only include it if it fits with their dynamics - but even if it doesn't I might just use suggestions for future fics)

Dae takes almost two days to wake up. Dr Richards wasn't worried though, while we waited, and neither was Landon, as they talked all the confusing medical talk. So I tried not to be worried, either. Dexter didn't even bother trying, and he never moved from Dae's side for more than a few minutes, so he's here when Dae finally opens his eyes, dark with heavy bags despite Dr Richard's insistence the extended unconsciousness was his body regaining equilibrium after the shock.

I feel like a voyeur watching Dexter pull Dae to him, snuffling against his neck while he sobs, big, wet, heavy tears of joy. Dae's a bit vacant at first, but Dr Richard's comes in and says it's normal, like waking up from a too long nap all dehydrated and not sure what day it is.

Dex strokes Dae's hand while he tells him it's going to be fine, and that Weston already spoke to the prosecutor who said Dae would need to give a statement, but there was no way it was going to be ruled as anything but self defense, with what his step brother was doing with all those people in the cages and the fact that he was armed and Dae only had a knife. The way Dexter sells it, it sounds like Dae might walk away from whatever happened in that basement with a medal.

I don't know what happened, but I have some guesses, and I'm pretty sure Dae will tell me more details when he's back to his old self. I know that will probably be a while, though, with how relieved he seemed when Dex actually confirmed Chul-moo was dead, because Dae hadn't actually known when Dex was doing his great big spiel about the police and no charges and everything, I think he'll be okay sooner rather than later.

I leave them to it, after promises to come back and see Dae tomorrow, when they start getting a bit soppy and I worry I might end up a different type of voyeur if I hang around, not that they'd care, but they need to be together right now.

"Oh, hi Gray," I'm surprised to see him, waiting outside the room, because he hadn't been in today. But that's Gray for you, always in the background, but probably knowing more than pretty much anyone else what's going on. I say as much, but he just laughs.

"You give me far too much credit, Ellis."

"Nah, I don't reckon so. I bet you have a finger in this pie."

"Wow, such a way with words," but I don't mind when he gets me like that, because it's never mean with it. "The only connection I have to whatever the hell has been happening with you lot over the last few weeks is that all my therapist friends are going to be heavily booked up for the foreseeable future. You want me to book you in with someone?"

I laugh, "You sorted me out ages ago. I still see Dr. Marvin, you know."

"I know. You're his favorite patient because you actually listen to him."

"Well, he helps me. Why wouldn't I?"

"You'd be surprised. You going to see Nikki?"

"Come with me."

He follows me down the corridor and we peek into the window on Nikki's room. Landon's there so I decide to leave it and go see Connor first, because Lan only gets to visit on his breaks, though at least he isn't restricted by visiting hours. Nikki didn't even need surgery, even though he got shot, which is the craziest thing, and I can't wait to hear his story too. All I managed to get from Dex is that he was amazing and climbed up a huge wall, but I still don't know how that made him end up with a bullet in his thigh, which apparently went straight through the fleshy bit and missed everything important, so he was about as lucky as it's possible to be.

Connor wasn't quite as fortunate, and we aren't actually allowed in his room so can only watch through the big window. Apparently it's an induced coma or something, so he's going to be fine, eventually, but he had to have some pretty major surgery. All I know is that his surgeon said he was lucky and went on about the stomach being the best and worst place to get shot, because it takes ages for it to kill you, but there's just a ton of important things around there. They had to take out half his liver, but the surgeon said not to worry because it'll grow back, so that's cool, I guess, and also super weird. Who knew? I said it didn't sound that lucky, but then then he got all teachery on me and showed me on a diagram how close it was to his stomach and his lungs and, okay, he was lucky.

I don't even realize Gray isn't standing next to me anymore, until I turn around and see him talking to Suzu. I can't help it, even though I only saw him two hours ago, I launch myself at him, knowing he'll catch me. I watch him hand his coffee to Gray with a smile just as I leap into his arms, feeling his strength take me in.

"It's over, right?" I whisper into his neck.

"Dexter will sort everything else out, Baby. We don't need to worry about a thing."

I burrow into him, just feeling incredibly content, amazed that I have this fabulous person in my life.
