Your POV

We all went back to Urokodaki-san's home and had a feast.

" Thank you for the feast, Urokodaki-san. I'm so full. " I said cheerfully. Sabito smiled and nodded. Urokodaki-san stood up and went to get something.

" You know, demons are like humans too. The more they eat the stronger they get. " Urokodaki-san said. " They might even possess strange powers and transform their bodies, they also might be able to use strange spells. " He continued and handed each of us a fox-mask.

" This is a warding mask, these masks are charged with a protection spell. To avoid you from harm. " Urokodaki-san explained. We all looked at each other and smiled.

" Thank you, Urokodaki-san. " We said in unison. He nodded and hugged us again.

" Just come back alive, all of you. That's the only thing I asked for. " He said.

~ Time skip, Morning ~

" We'll be going, Urokodaki-san! " Sabito said.

" Come back, no matter what. " Urokodaki-san replied.

" We will! " We all said in unison as we waved him goodbye. He waved back at us.

~ Time skip, at Mt. Fujikasane ~

" Wisteria everywhere even if it's not their season yet. They suppose to bloom mid to late spring. " I told them.

" I heard demons hate wisterias. " Sabito said.

When we reach the last staircase our eyes widen. They were a lot of participants.

" Welcome, future Demon Slayers. Thank you for coming tonight to be a part of the Demon Slayer Corps Final Selection. "

" There are demons imprisoned here at Mt Fujikasane, they are captured alive by Demon Slayers and are unable to leave because of the wisterias that they hate so much, is surrounding the mountain from the bottom to halfway up. "

" However from this point onwards. They'll be no wisterias and demons are lurking. "

The three of us never left each other's side until we saw a boy running for his life, we chased after him and helped him. He thanked us and left. We saw a lot of kids running for their lives, like almost everywhere. Sabito then suggested for us to split up to assist and save others.

I was about to hesitate, but Giyuu approved. I fear I might not be able to see them, or I might get lost. But I can't let them see that, so I agreed.

I kept doing this for almost 6 days, and almost no demons are left, some children are resting behind trees tending their own wounds. This is the last night, then it'll be all over.

I was about to head to a opposite direction when I heard a familiar scream.

I immediately ran towards where I heard the scream. I then saw Giyuu wounded.

" No! Giyuu! " I yelled and quickly went to him, I then saw Sabito killed a demon.

" Sabito! " I called him. He was wearing his mask. And we all heard another kids calling for help.

" Sabito, no! Stay! " I told him and he took his mask off and smile.

" Don't worry about me, I'm fine. Focus your attention on Giyuu first. " He said and pat my head, and left.

" Sabito... " I heard Giyuu said before he passed out.

' When is the sun gonna rise!? ' I asked myself while tending to Giyuu's wounds. I tore a part of my clothing and tied it around his head to apply pressure and stop the bleeding.
