Flames of fury,

flames of Hell,

The fat old dog Cerberus raises a head

languid, neither bark nor bite to welcome a

cast Jezebel into his den.

Lucifer beckons,

a glistening apple in hand.

Red-horned incubus, he smiles

fangs and glory, blood and gore

at his feet.

Knelt, child-like, primrose path led

and daisy-scented she waits

a pet, a pet.

The heat of Hell is a dull warmth

and nothing like your dragon-fire

heart that scorches me to ashes.

A blistering inferno melts me into a puddle,

knelt, child-like, primrose path led

at your feet.

Black-winged, fallen angel

lost in god's favour,

and that makes the two of us.

In violet-white flames,

standing, war-like, child of a fiend,

wielder of vengeance and

teeth in her smile.

Child-like charm, heavenly grace

sanguine, oozing

at her feet.

Apple core left,

an apple seed left.

Cerberus licks a trail of red,

good old boy, nice dog.

Bury the seed with that Lucifer.
