Part 5

POV Bakugo

My head is killing. When my eyes flutter open all I could see was stone everywhere. I feel so dizzy. Where the hell am I. how did I get here. I slowly and quietly stand up and start to walk towards the breeze of wind flowing through the ... cave?

I can hear a creaking noise in the distance. I walk towards it and see a door swinging in the wind.

" I need to get out of here" I wisped to myself as I ran towards the door. As soon as I could see out of the door I froze. Holy shit. How long was I out it must of taken ages to get here. I can see the village in the distance. Were basically 2/3 of the way up a mountain.

I should start walking back before whoever brought me here comes back. They will pay for this, I'm never going to be back in time to leave tomorrow, shit that was a really great opportunity to build up my rep. now deku is gonna take the lime light. I'll go home, get ma to look at my head and come back and teach this bastard a lesson.

Just as I start to leave, I hear footsteps quickly approaching. I guess I could teach em a lesson now. I turned and walked back to where they left me picking up a large rock on the way.

POV Kirishima

Shit, shit, shit. I never wanted to hurt him. He's been out for a while. This is defiantly not going to help me prove I'm harmless.

Hopefully these herbs and berries will work. I read that they help speed up recovery. I was pulled from my thoughts by the door swinging in the wind.

I dart through the cave and see Bakugo is still there sleeping. Thank god, if he left now he would probably tell everyone and this could put my friends at risk. In king 'endeavours' kingdom its illegal to shelter a dragon or half breed.

I must have left the door open. Anyway, I'll grind these up and put them in water for Bakugo to drink.

POV Bakugo

Shitty hair. Why? Never mind he needs to be taught no one ever messes with me. I got up slowly with the rock firmly in my hand. I walk quietly towards him and when he seemed distracted reaching for a wooded mug. I strike. I hit him directly on the back of the head with the rock. He falls to the flood gripping his head and winced. I spotted my sward and grabbed it. By the time he turned around I was pointing at his throat.

"why did you bring me here shitty hair" I yelled with nothing but anger radiating from me.

"please Bakugo I was trying to help you. Help us both" he pleaded with his hands out in front of him.

" I was just –" he continued

"shut it shitty hair" I looked around and saw some rope in the corner. I walked over and picked it up, still pointing my sward at him.

"hands and feet out" I commanded he silently complied. Once I secured the rope around his feet and hands, I sat facing him, put my sward down and said "explain".

"Bakugo, don't you remember anything?" shitty hair questioned. Is he serious, of course I don't remember anything, that's why I'm asking.

POV Kirishima

He doesn't remember. I can tell him anything. I can get out of this whole situation. All I have to do is think of a believable lie. If I can think of something that will keep us close in the future, I will be able to monitor if he starts to remember and then ... well I don't know what I'll do then but it doesn't matter now.

"the last thing I remember was arriving at the tavern with my ma to drop off some bread and I saw you leaving" Bakugo said.

Think.

"well shitty hair, are you going to say anything or just sit there"

"i- um- well we went into the forest after you delivered the bread because I stupidly thought I could beat you in a sward fight" he raised an eyebrow. Is he buying this?

"anyway, I lost and you thought you saw a half breed or something so we followed it up hear but some rocks fell and it your head. While looking for help I saw this cave and brought you hear for shelter then went to get some herbs to help you heal. And now were hear" I look at his face ... he doesn't believe a word I just said, I can tell.

POV Bakugo

As soon as shitty hair started talking my memories came flooding back. I'm not gonna lie but if they hadn't, I probably would have believed everything he just said.

I got up and walked over t the door. It's getting dark it's too risky to leave now, this mountain is steep and it's dangerous to be out at night. I'm going to miss the hunt but I've also already finished it so that doesn't really matter. Can I really hand kirishima over, he's never done anything wrong to me. But he's a stranger and I could really use this to boost my reputation and the money would really help the bakery out at the moment. Whatever ill figure it out later for now ill just let him believe that I believe him.

"so what made you think you could beat me in a sward fight shitty hair" I say I can see he is still unsure so I start to cut him loose.

POV Kirishima

I did it. He believed me. Wait till mina hears this she says I can't lie for shit. He's even cutting me free ok now all I have to do is make sure we become friends before we get back so he will stay close. I really hope he never remembers.
