Part 15

POV Bakugo

Goddammit. We need to hurry up I don't even want to think about what they're planning to do to him in the castle. I've always thought the king was a shitty ruler.

"dads, did you find him" a purple haired kid asked looking at Aizawa as we all dismounted our horses.

"I'm sorry he was captured by another hunter group but we have a plan to get him back. We just need our weapons to be lined with the element strong enough to cut through the king's knights armour. We are going to get him from the inside and we need to be ready in case we get caught and have to fight" Aizawa replied looking at the four Infront of him.

I know mina and sero the blacksmiths but I have no memory of the other two extras.

"well we can take care of that for you, just hand over your weapons" mina said while her and sero collected our weapons. They looked insanely concentrated.

"we will finish them as soon as possible" sero said as the two of them disappeared in to their shop. Deku went to follow but was stopped by a bright blond kid with a black lightning stripe in his hair, dunce face.

"they work faster when they're alone, come into the tavern and we'll give you some food" dunce face said.

"put your horses in the stables and come on in" a mini purple haired aizawa said as they walked inside.

After tying up the stupid horse deku lent me I waked inside. There aren't many people inside.

"over here" dunce face said pointing at a secluded table once most of us were at the table dunce face started talking again.

"hey, I'm denki, sero and mina are the blacksmiths you met earlier and that is shinso" he then pointed to the purple haired kid talking to aizawa and Hisashi.

"were friends of kiris, we asked shinsos dads to help us look after him" he went quiet and looked at the floor sadly

"is this your tavern, its very nice" uraraka said. He looked up and smiled

"yep mine and shinsos. Would you like anything, you may be here a while and its on the house as your helping kiri"

"hey dunce face how long will they be till the weapons are ready" I asked looking at him

"dunce face" he repeated confused

"yeah that's you" I said impatiently, shit what if this takes too long

"I don't know sorry man" dunce face replied.

"denki well have whatever you recommend" deku said and dunce face smiled and walked into the back to get whatever.

"kacchan, I know your nervous but this will workout ok, you should be nice to these people are kirishima friends" deku said

"shut up deku, I'm going for some air" I said walking outside.

POV Mina

An hour later

"how much longer do you think this is gonna take sero?" I asked

"well we already have some pre-made weapons that are strong enough but this will still take a while, I hate to say it but I doubt they will be ready till early morning"

"ok i'll go and explain how its going to them, be back in a minute"

"ok babe" he said as I walk out the door.

As I'm walking towards the tavern, I hear sniffles. is someone crying?

"hello is anyone there?" I say looking down the dark ally between the tavern and my shop. I hear someone shuffle around. I can see a figure huddling their knees, I don't think they heard me. As I got closer, I recognised the red cape.

"Bakugo?" I ask and he looks up startled and wipes his face.

"baku are you ok?" I sat next to him and he just looked at the floor before composing himself and looked at me

"I'm fine mina, I'm just taking a break from those annoying extras" he said with his normal aggression

"baku you were crying, tell mama mina what's wrong" I say hoping to lift his mood

"I wasn't crying I'm just- I was- I should have been stronger" he said looking down

"wait is this about kiri." I say getting no response "I'm sure you did all you could" I continue and see his jaw clench.

"that's the point. I did all I could and they still got him" he said and his eyes water "i-I told him I would protect him from them and I couldn't" he continued voice cracking and eyes spilling. I pull him into a hug which he accepts. My eyes start to water and we stay there for a while.

When I stopped crying and remember they have a plan to get him back I smile and let him go looking at him he stopped crying as well I smirk even more.

"I'm sure your plan will work and the weapons will be of the highest quality so it should be easy for you" I joke he smirks

"on another note, anything happen between you and kiri" I smirk and even though it's dark I see him go bright red

"eee it did, tell me" I squeal

POV keigo takami (hawks)

"keigo how much longer are we gonna put up with his shit" Rumi said to me while doing laps around the small room we shared in the castle.

"this job is shit he treats us like slaves instead of employees" she continued "why did we even decide to take these jobs do you realise how risky this is for us especially me, unlike you some of us haven't found someone willing to blood bond with them meaning they still have tow powers and are struggling to keep them under control. Keigo I can't do this for muck longer every time he talks, I just want to aagh god I hate him" she said frustrated

"I know Rumi but just a little longer then we will be able to be ourselves again. If we don't do this we will have to hide until we die but if he's gone, we will be able to be ourselves, his children think differently to him, he's scared of people like us. They aren't they recognise we are people not threats" I say.

"hey you two, its your shift" another guard said walking past the room hitting the door open so we could hear.

"only a bit longer" we both whisper to ourselves.
