Part 34

POV Bakugo –

"hey kat I was looking for you" kiri said as I slowly walked over to him, as soon as I heard the tavern door shut I started talking.

"Ei, I ..." or at least I hoped I would

"I, umm, well i.." I tied again

"look kat I need to tell you something, huh, well firstly I'm sorry for coming to wake you up in the middle of the night well actually you were already up so I don't need to be sorry" he said chuckling to himself at the end, I can sense his nerves. Focus he has something important to tell you, then you tell him, three words 'I like you' that's it, three tiny words, how complicat-

"umm kat you still there?"

POV Kirishima

"... so I don't need to be sorry" I joked ,mostly to myself, trying to calm my nerves.

"umm yeah anyway can you apologise to your parents later, ohh and your mom invited me over for a meal at some point" I laughed again, huh I was expecting more of a reaction, I look over at kat and he is staring into the distance, he was zoned out. He's probably tired, I better make this quick and let him go home. Him being tired may be for the best it will take him longer to process what I say and if he gets mad then I will be able tell sooner and leave, doesn't matter anyway, I trust mina, everything's gonna be fine.

"umm kat you still there?" I say waving my hands Infront of kat's face, catching his attention.

"yeah I'm here, I was just thinking" he said quietly, then looked me in the eye. He seems confused, should I ask if he's okay? Okay I'm starting to feel less and less confident about this whole confessing idea. no your confident, I can do it, I'll ask him after.

"I'm gonna be straight up with you, I like you and I have for a while. I'm really bad at reading signals so I can't really tell if you feel the same. I hope this doesn't make it weird between us if you don't like me back, which is fine by the way. But umm ever since we had that kiss before everything happened, actually before that, I knew I liked you. That kiss meant a lot to me and I hope it did for you too. I think we work really well together and I think your amazing, you're so confident, talented, brave, strong, skilled, handsome and you're the manliest guy I know. I'm talking really fast but what I'm trying to say is I like you and I want us to be together." I rushed out breaking eye contact within my first sentence and looking at the floor.

I slowly look at his face so I can try to figure out what he's thinking. I can tell my face is red, it's dark though so maybe he won't be able to see. He looks shocked but not angry, should I speak again? What should I say? I could- he's smiling, this has got to be the happiest I've ever seen him.

POV Bakugo

he likes me. So, mina was telling the truth. Guess I should have just gone for it.

He looked up at me and he was smiling nervously, it was dark but I could see his face was red. I notice his face quickly changes and he seems confused, what happened ...

Shit, he likes me, holy hell, it's only just catching up with me what that means. Brain of all the times you could have been slow now was not your best option. Okay say something back, let him know you feel the same. Haha I can't believe he actually likes me. God okay, hahaha, fuck

"..." speak man, damn I can't think properly. He's smiling, cute.

Smiling I reach forward, grab him by his shirt and pull him into a kiss. The kiss was short and ei just looked shocked but quickly regained his composure and pulled me back in for another kiss, this one was longer, soft lips, passionate, it was blissful. There were a few low groans from both of us before a cold wind brought us back down from cloud nine. I had my arms wrapped around his waste and he had his arms around my neck.

"so I'm the manliest guy you know huh?" I ask whilst our foreheads are resting together.

POV Kirishima

"100%, you're the manliest person I've ever met" I say playing along with his mocking and he laughs a little

"so umm just to be clear you feel the same, right?" I ask

"yes Ei, I feel the same. I mean why wouldn't I? look at you your stunning, and on top of that your smart, caring, kind and the list goes on"

POV Mina

"mina are you sure we should be watching this, it's a private moment" sero said as me, him, denki and shinso were peeking out the window.

"well you don't have to look" I say back while still observing.

"so are you gonna stop watching babe?" I ask smirking because I know the answer

"...no" he whispers and I giggle

"they wont mind, kiri will tell me everything anyway" I say smiling as I see kiri and baku rest their heads together.

"I'm glad they found each other" denki said

"yeah kiri deserves to be happy, but bakugo's kind of an ass" shinso said making denki and sero burst out in laughter and I giggled.

"yeah man he's always been like that" denki said trying to stop his laughter

"damn, if we didn't try to keep kiri away from most people especially hunters they may have already been together" sero said and we all went quiet.

"we did what we thought was best, it was the best thing to do and it doesn't matter because everything worked out in the end" shinso said quickly cheering everyone up.

"your right, we made the right choice" I said. After a few minutes of talking we notice kiri and baku walking this way hand in hand and decided to go back to our rooms.

"damn my boys are really in love huh" I said to myself smiling before I walked back to bed.

POV Bakugo

"huh" I whisper to myself

"what is it?" Ei questioned

"it's nothing really, I had a killer headache before I found you and now it's completely gone" I say

"weird, same thing happened to me"

sorry this part is a little shorter than the rest. 

i won't be updating next Sunday because it's my exam week 7th -11th and i need to revise but updates should be back to normal on the 13th.

Also, as this story is coming to an end, I am considering writing small side stories, over my Christmas break, for some of the other ships in this book and i wanted to know if anyone would be interested in that and what ship stories you would like.
