The Sunny Little Dragon and The Dark Maiden [Yang Xiao Long x OC]

Chapter 2- Teams

I woke up the next day. Turns out I woke up early since I noticed most people were sleeping. I was a bit tired, but I'm used to it since I had to wake up for school early every day. I put on my glasses, got up, rolled up my sleeping bag, and then made my way to the changing room to get ready for the day.

Mini Time-Skip

After I changed into my clothes. I then ate some pancakes for breakfast and made my way to the locker room. When I went inside, some people were talking with there friends, getting their weapons and other necessities, or just chilling by themselves. I looked for my locker. While looking for it. Jaune Arc decided to be a pain in my side and talk to me while I was trying to look for my locker.

" Hey, Jaune Arc rolls off the tongue ladies love it. I was wondering-" 

Before he could finish speaking I shoved him out of my way after spotting my locker and quickly walked before he could catch up to me. I opened it, took out my guns, and put it in my holsters. Then I closed my locker door, sat on a bench, and waited for the announcement. Then Yang and Ruby noticed me sitting and decides to walk over to talk to me. I didn't want to talk, but before I could get up they were already here.

" Hey, Rose how are you doing," Yang asked.

" Wonderful," I said with sarcasm.

" Okay, I was just telling Ruby that she should meet people sooner or later," Yang informed.

" I don't need people to help me grow up, I drink milk," Ruby said to Yang.

" But what about when we form teams?" Yang asked Ruby.

I zoned out not wanting to here their idle conversation. I then went back to waiting for the announcement. After some time the announcement played. I quickly got up and went to the cliff thinking about how I will do the landing.

Time-Skip

Everyone was on the cliff while Ozpin and Glynda explained everything about how teams worked. After explaining everyone went into a stance waiting to be launched. After Ruby was launched it was my turn. I was a bit nervous but I didn't show it. Then I was launched into the air, I made sure that my glasses were still on my face and looked for a clear part of the forest to land. When I spotted one I moved my body towards that area and started to fall quicker than before. I knew at that moment I had to think fast. So before I reached the ground, I transformed my gun into a sword and stabbed it into a nearby tree. I then looked down and I wasn't so far from the ground. I took out my sword, dropped down unscathed, transformed my sword back into a gun, and started to walk in the direction of the old ruins where the relics are. 

Time-Skip

I was walking for a very long time and I was starting to get tired. But I'm not going to throw in the towel just yet. As I was walking, it started to get windy, cold, and quiet. Then all around me were red eyes glaring at me, watching and waiting for the right time to strike. I stopped and turned around to look at the red eyes and slowly reach for my gun. But before I could fully take it out. A Beowolf lunged from the bushes and swiped at me. I rolled out of the and way and began to run. I looked behind and they were gaining on me. When I looked ahead of me a Beowolf was in front of me. I tried to run but ten Beowolves were around me and started to close in. I closed my eyes and waited for my fate. But nothing happens. I opened my eyes and the Beowolves looked confused. After looking around for a few minutes they left. I then noticed my hands were gone as well as my whole body. So that means that this is my semblance. My body and then my hands appear again, meaning I stopped using my semblance. I then continued my way towards the ruins.  After some time I made it to the ruins. I then noticed that everyone was there. So I decided to turn invisible, run towards the ruins, and grab the black Queen chess piece. Then I ran in the direction of the school. Leaving them to 'bond' with each other like in the show.

Time-Skip

Everyone was in the Auditorium. Ozpin was giving the students their team names.

" Cardin Winchester, Russel Thrush, Dove Bronzewing, and Sky Lark. The four of you have retrieved the black bishop pieces, from this day forward you will be known as team CRDL(pronounced Cardinal). Led by Cardin Winchester" Ozpin said.

Followed by claps the next team went up.

" Juan Arc, Nora Valkyrie, Pyrrha Nikos, and Lie Ren. The four of you have retrieved the white rook pieces, from this day forward you will work together as team JNPR(pronounced as Juniper). Led by Jaune Arc" Ozpin said.

Followed by claps and laughs(because Jaune fell) the next team went up.

" Blake Belladonna, Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, and Yang Xiao Long. The four of you have Retrieved the white knight pieces, from this day forward you will work together as team RWBY(pronounced Ruby). Led by Ruby Rose" Ozpin said.

Followed by claps I went up.

" Rose Moon. You have retrieved the black queen piece. Unfortunately, you don't have a team with you. However, you are in luck because you chose the black queen chess piece. It allows you to choose a team to join. Now, which team will it be?" Ozpin said.

I thought for a second and then said the team's name.

" I choose team RWBY," I said.

" Very well then, from this day forward RWBY will be the first-ever a five-person team," Ozpin said.

I turned around to walk off stage when rose petals rush towards and then Ruby put me into a tight hug. Then she let go of me and said.

" Welcome to the team!" Ruby said excitedly.

She then flashes me a bright smile and we walked towards the rest of the team.
