The Sunny Little Dragon and The Dark Maiden [Yang Xiao Long x OC]

Chapter 3- The First Day part 1

I was sleeping peacefully when I heard a faint sound of a whistle. I turned over still sleeping. Until I heard it next to my ear. I shot up, breathing heavily and frantically looking around the room. Then Ruby shouted.

" Good morning team RWBY!"  Ruby shouted.

" What in the world is wrong with you!" Weiss exclaimed.

" Now that you guys are awake, we can officially begin our first order of business," Ruby said.

" Excuse me?" Weiss asked after she got up from the floor and dusted herself off.

" Decorating!" Yang said excitedly.

" What?" Weiss asked.

" We still have to unpack," Blake said lifting up a suitcase as necessities fell out of it.

" And clean," Blake said while looking at the mess on the ground.

Weiss glared at all of them. While she was glaring I was already in my uniform. I also wore my black gloves, my boots, and my glasses. Then Ruby blew the whistle next to Weiss causing her to fall down again.

" Alright! Weiss, Blake, Yang, Rose, and their fearless leader Ruby have begun their first mission. Bonzai!" Ruby exclaimed.

" Bonzai!" Blake and Yang shouted.

I shook my head at their foolishness and got ready to decorate.

Time-Skip

After decorating(well  Blake, Yang, Wiess, and Ruby did)we looked at the room. The beds were piled up in the middle of the room. We were staring at it.

" This isn't going to work," Weiss said.

Then I zoned out since I already heard them talk for a long time now. Then I started to think about a job to get lien since I don't have clothes, a scroll, or much dust bullets.

" What about you Rose? bunk beds?" Ruby asked me.

I snapped out of my thoughts, looked at Ruby, and nodded. Then we ran over to the pile of beds and got to work. When we were done the girls' beds were bunk beds, while my bed was above the window hanged by ropes better than Ruby's and it was sturdy too.

"Objective Complete" Ruby said. As she looked at our creation.

" Alright, our second order of business is, classes," Ruby sighed as she somehow is sitting on her bed with a book in her lap.

" Now we have a few classes together today, at 9 we got-" Ruby said getting interrupted by Weiss.

" What, did you say 9 o'clock!" Weiss shouted at Ruby.

" Umm," Ruby said.

" It's 8:55 you dunce!" Weiss informed as she runs through the door.

I ran soon after not wanting to be late and not caring about the rest who were lagging behind.

Time-Skip

I was sitting next to Ruby who was sleeping during Professor Port's class.

" Monsters! Demons" Port said, then he continued.

" Prowlers of the night. Yes, the creatures of Grimm has many names. But I merely refer to them as prey. Hu-hah! Haha." Port joked.

Ruby woke up after Port laughed and the classroom was quiet. The only sound now was crickets.

" Uhh, and you shall too, upon graduating from this prestigious academy. Now as I was saying, Vale, as well as the other three kingdoms, are safe havens in an otherwise treacherous world," Port informed.

" Our planet is absolutely teeming with creatures that would love nothing more than to tear you to pieces and that's where we come in. Huntsman! Huntresses," Port said as he looked at us and clicked his tongue.

I revolted in disgust but I didn't show it. I never showed my emotions in japan after my aunt, aunt Satsuki died from a disease that couldn't be cured. She was strong, brave, and was a student council member in the school I was in. That is why I always worked hard. She was the only person who raised me ever since I was four. I shook my head and I went back to listening to Port, he was telling his story. I tried to look as though I have been listening. But I have to admit he is boring.

" So, who among you believes themselves to be the embodiment of these traits" Port asks.

" I do sir!" Weiss shouted as she raised her hand with an angry look on her face.

" Well then, let's find out. Step forward, and face your opponent" Port said as he looked at an iron cage with glowing red eyes glaring back at him.
