The Sunny Little Dragon and The Dark Maiden [Yang Xiao Long x OC]

Chapter 4- The First Day part 2

Weiss stands in front of the class with her weapon in hand looking at the iron cage that holds the Grimm inside.

" Gooo Weiss!" Yang cheered.

" Fight well!" Blake said waving a red RWBY flag.

" Yeah, represent teeeam RWBY!" Ruby said.

" Ruby, I'm trying to focus," Weiss told her.

" Oh, sorry," Ruby apologized.

I decided not to cheer for Wiess since I did not want to look like a child in front of everyone.

" Alright, let the match, begin," Port said. With his weapon in hand, he broke the lock on the cage freeing the Grimm that was inside. The Grimm then growled and charged at Weiss. Weiss then dodged as she swung her weapon hitting the Grimm's bones.

" Haha, wasn't expecting that were you?" Port boasted.

" Hang in there Weiss," Ruby reassured.

Weiss then charged forward ready to strike to only have her weapon stuck in the bones and hurt in the process. She proceeded to tug and pull at her weapon to free it.

" Bold, new approach. I like it!" Port complimented.

" Come on Weiss, show it who's the boss!" Ruby cheered.

Wiess(which she shouldn't have)looked at Ruby probably to protest. The Grimm noticing that she was distracted got her weapon out of her hand and continued to attack Wiess. The Grimm landed a hit on her. In the meantime, her weapon flew through the air and made clink noise when it hit the ground.

" Oho, now what will you do without your weapon?" Port said.

Wiess on the ground trying to recover looked up to see the Grimm charging at her. She rolled out of the way and ran to her weapon causing the Grimm to fall. Weiss slid on the ground and got her weapon.

" Weiss, go for its belly! There's no armor underneath-" Ruby informed to only get interrupted by an angry Weiss.

" Stop telling me what to do!" Weiss said angrily looking at Ruby.

Ruby looked at her with a hurt expression on her face. The Grimm who has recovered rolled into a ball and again charged at Weiss. Weiss made a shield, the Grimm bounced off it with a loud screech and fell on its back. Weiss then jumped on her shield as well as another while driving her weapon into its stomach and sliding it on the floor. Weiss panted while kneeling down taking a rest.

" Bravo! Braa-vo! It appears we are indeed in the presence of a true huntress in training.I'm afraid that's all the time we have for today. Be sure to cover the assigned readings and, stay vigilant. Class dismissed." Port said.

Weiss walked angrily out the classroom leaving Ruby, Yang, Blake, and Jaune confused. But I knew exactly why she was mad.

Time-Skip

We were all in our room except for Wiess. We were all in our pajamas, Ruby was studying and I was reading a book that I borrowed from Blake. Since my bed was higher than both bunk beds Yang kept poking at it making it shake and she wouldn't stop. So I ignored her until it started to shake, even more, and I decided to ask why she is bothering me.

" Yang, what do you need? and please stop poking at my bed. You are going to make me fall," I told her.

" Well, I want to know more about you. You don't talk much," Yang said.

" You can know more about me tomorrow. It's late," I said trying to convince her.

" Pleeeease, just tell something about yourself," Yang nagged.

" Fine, I have two guns that transform into swords. Hyojin uses ice dust bullets and an ice dust crystal when in sword form. Hokori is the same but uses fire bullets and a fire dust crystal. I also like to read as you can see. There I'm done," I said.

" Aww! that all" Yang said pouting.

" Yes, now go to sleep sunshine," I said. Not realizing what I had just said.

" Ooh, nicknames now are we? Okay goodnight beautiful." Yang said as she turned over and went to sleep.

I blushed when she called me beautiful and noticed everyone was asleep. So I put the book under my pillow, went under the covers, closed my eyes, and went to sleep not even bothering to put my hair into a ponytail this time.
